"Clean room, stocked with beach and bath towels. Bed and pillows were surprisingly very comfortable allowing for a great night sleep. Bath had a personal jacuzzi tub. Their outdoor jacuzzi along with their spa robes felt like a luxurious experience at the spa. The wife and I bought a wine bottle, and their front desk provided the cork opener and glasses. Breakfast was a homier version of a hotel's continental breakfast. Staff was friendly and offered golf cart rides to the local beach."

"We loved a one night stay at Riverside cottages. We were there for a graduation from college of Charleston. And our whole family had a beach house at Folly Beach so we decided to just rent one of the bedrooms in the cottages. It was very pleasant. Everything was clean a good night sleep. "I was very disappointed with my stay. The bed sheets smelled strongly of urine, and my room was only cleaned once during my entire stay. There was also a heavy cigarette odor throughout the property, making it unpleasant for families. The carpet in the room was extremely dirty so much so that I did not feel comfortable letting my one-year-old walk on it. Overall, the cleanliness and condition of the hotel did not meet expectations, and I would not recommend it for families with young children....
