"Rooms clean and comfortable. The entry road and area around the lodge is desperate need to upkeep and repairs. Staff was very friendly and food was good. Overall a good lodge for an overnight stay but needs a bit TLC. "

"We liked our stay at Auas Lodge. The lodge is nice but quite simple. Staff was really friendly!! The room is a little bit dark but clean. Food was good but dinner could be a little more (especially the main course). Lodge needs some renovations works e.g. toilette near the pool. The nature around the lodge is beautiful and it’s a good start or end for the Namibia vacation. "

"We stayed in a Double room (Point of View) at Düsternbrook and very much enjoyed the tranquility and the incredible view at the pool and our room & deck. The staff are all kind, helpful and happy to answer all questions. Whilst driving to the lodge we already spotted heaps of animals like giraffes, warthogs, all kind of birds, baboons, Kudus, springboks etc., so driving slowly pays off. "Die Lage der Lodge ist einzigartig. Das wird einem schon bei der Anfahrt bewußt. Man hat einen wunderbaren Blick in das "Valley of a thousands Hills", ob man vor seiner Hütte sitzt und ins Tal schaut oder im Pool einen Rockshandy genießt. Wer Einsamkeit sucht, sollte hier mehr als eine Nacht bleiben. Unsere Hütte war liebevoll eingerichtet und sauber."
