Enjoyed the one night stay!! I wish we had more time.. The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming!! Beautiful gardens! Quiet and peaceful!! Walkable to everything..Very clean and comfortable room! Breakfast was delicious!

This retreat has all of the markings that the owner/innkeeper has very good taste and she actually cares about you and your well being ! Plan on staying there a lot in the future !

We stayed in the cottages, cottage #3. The cottages are not actually on the Gardens property but were directly next door to the Gardens Hotel. The Gardens Hotel property are lush and beautiful, while the cottages are set behind a home in the back of the lot. It feels like a different hotel even though it's part of the Gardens. The cottage itself was big and luxurious but had a strong musty odor. If we stayed again, we would pass on the cottages for the overall experience of staying on the Gardens property.

Best Everr
I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and this was the best place I have ever been. From the service to the cleanliness to the amenities, hands down the best ever. It was a very relaxing experience. My regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. When we come back The Garden Hotel is where we will stay.

A worthwhile splurge
This was a splurge and we enjoyed it! Ray, at check-in, was exceedingly welcoming and courteous. We took advantage of the wine bar and the live piano music. While we did not partake, the outdoor bar and heated pool in the courtyard looked delightful and was certainly being enjoyed by other guests. Our room was clean and the A/C was cold. Breakfast in the courtyard was filling and a lovely setting to boot.

A quite oasis in the heart of Key West. What a lovely property. The owner and staff have taken great lengths to create a peaceful environment where you can unwind. The whole ambience of this hotel is just amazing. The staff are courteous, knowledgeable and generous with their time and energy. The grounds are peaceful, yet the whole place is lively. Breakfast, the pool, the music every evening, just everything is first class.

The Gardens Hotel was top notch from the time we checked in to the time of check out (which we didn't want to leave!). The hotel is gorgeous with such beautiful gardens, pathways and little nooks to relax and it's only a few steps from Duval Street. My husband and I stayed for a week to celebrate our Anniversary and absolutely loved our stay. The only negative is the noise (guests walking around) from the above rooms if you are on a ground floor room, but other than that, we would definitely be back!

A glass of cool, crisp Prosecco offered by warm, welcoming staff upon arrival; intriguing artwork throughout the property; scrumptious breakfasts; luxurious linens; and so many more unexpected treats at The Gardens Hotel. The lush gardens that wind throughout the property are beyond spectacular! No adequate words, only a recommendation to experience this in person. A true gem in the heart of Key West!!

Gift yourself the Gardens
Lovely hotel, relaxing gardens to walk through, beautiful small pool and poolside bar. There is also a 2nd pool. Great happy hour with live music, think piano or jazz trio. Large rooms, tastefully furnished, large porches or decks. Delicious breakfasts. Location is perfect, walkable to everything. The hotel also has bikes. Be in the heart of Key West in your own Oasis of comfort and style.

It was amazing, After staying in a lot of hotels with so much disappointment it was nice to finally find a decent one, the pool was actually there and working and the breakfast was amazing. Great place to relax, very close to all kinds of good restaurants and shops downtown. Given the proximity to bars and traffic the rooms are very quiet, and there are blackout shades for sleeping in. Air conditioning was lovely.

The Gardens Hotel is a beautiful oasis in the middle of busy Key West. Located right off of central Duval St., it’s close to all the bars, restaurants, and attractions. Its gorgeous grounds, rooms and pool are a relaxing respite from busy Duval, but you’re steps away when you’re ready to go. Everyone at the hotel was kind and welcoming—we understood immediately why people keep coming back. Our time at the pool and pool bar were some of the best of our trip! The rooms are large and beautifully decorated and the breakfast each morning is delicious. We are leaving relaxed and happy, and will definitely stay at the Gardens whenever we are in Key West!
