The mountain road from Stöckalp to the property is open during even hours and from the property back to Stöckalp during odd hours. Guests driving to the property may park in an offsite parking area located 0.3 miles (500 meters) from the property for CHF 16 per stay, per vehicle. Guests may drive up to the property entrance to drop off luggage. Cable car operating hours and parking fees are subject to change.

Mixed Experience at a Scenic Mountain Retreat
Pros: -Scenic location amidst the great mountains and near a remote village -Friendly staff proficient in English Impressive amenities, including a pool, spa, and restaurant -Exceptional dog-friendly policies -Breathtaking views of the mountains and lake -Overall cleanliness and quiet atmosphere Cons: -Inefficient check-in after 6 PM process with only one staff member for two buildings -Arriving late (around 6 pm), we had to request a room change and building transfer; otherwise, we were considering leaving the hotel altogether due to initial dissatisfaction. -Two distinct buildings, with a significant difference in quality -Rooms in the other building do not offer value for money -Misleading description on hotels.com; it doesn't mention the building disparities -A lot of rooms in the other building have poor views (facing a wall) -Rooms in the other building are not well-equipped and organized -Construction site in front of the reception of the other building can be confusing and off-putting
