"The Room was Very Clean - Beds Well Made - Comfortable and Well Kept Making for a Relaxing Stay - I Appreciated the Beach View as it Added a Really Nice Touch to The Overall Experience - Although They are Currently Doing Repairs and Adding Touches to The Rooms - The Anchorage Inn and Resort is a Solid Choice if You're Looking for Comfort and a Pleasant Atmosphere - They're Budget Friendly and Who Doesn't Like Complimentary Coffee as Much as You'll Have!!!"

"We booked a stay for one night at the Hampton in waterfront in Portland. Specifically for the pool for my 2 and 5 year old. Upon arrival we were informed the pool Was and had been closed since the middle of the previous month. There was no mention of this anywhere in Expedia or on the Hampton inn website. After learning this we were going to cancel a switch to a different hotel with a pool as my kids were very upset. The General Manager literally talked us into staying and promised the pool would be open by 8:00am as all that was left to do was install the ladder it’s now 8:55 and the front desk told us the pool is still closed but the maintenance person is usually here by now but is on his way. no idea how long. My kids are beyond disappointed. Since we booked expedia we are not able to be refunded."

"$20 for parking would have been acceptable if we parked in the garage, or at least if the door to the hotel from overflow parking was open. Having to lug everything down the street was too much. "
