"We were fortunate to be able to stay in the Upper Moose Caboose and loved it for so many reasons. The actual train car was not only quite unique, but had all the creature comforts including satellite tv and full kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the view from the large deck, kitchen and bedroom was breathtaking. The location was close to town and not far from Bishops beach and the Spit. "How anyone rated this property less than 5 stars is a mystery to me. Everything about it was perfect. Sarah was extremely accommodating in helping us set up a boat tour and gave us a great recommendation for a hike and a local place to stop for dinner. "If you’re headed to Seward this is the absolute best place to stay. I am absolutely in love with this quiet remote place. It is nicely tucked away in the middle of the woods. The owner Gary is usually in the office when you enter. He is warm, informative and extremely pleasant to deal with. He had two assistants that were equally as pleasant and helpful. The cabins were well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. The place was safe, well kept and just a dream get away for anyone...

"Made a great central location, and the river being right out back was a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable and seemed new. The room did get a pretty warm, but we put the box fan up in the window and it really cooled it down. "
