"Wow factor!
This was a one night stay but will always be remembered . Warm greeting from Lorraine and explanation of the hotel and local attractions. The particular room we had was excellent with great character and comfortable bed. The next morning we had a delicious selection of starters for breakfast followed by a home cooked Scottish breakfast. We will return in the future for sure.
I would absolutely recommend this hotel"

"Clean room, great staffs, kitchen was clean. Location was good right at the west end. However, there was no elevator. People travelling with luggage’s is really difficult to carry them through the endless staircases to reach to the room. I would highly recommend all the hosteling Scotland's should have lift/elevator at least. Thanks"

"Everything was perfect! The hotel was exceptionally clean, very comfortable, and the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming throughout my stay.
The only minor drawback was that the advertised swimming pool and gym are not located on-site and are approximately 4 miles away. Anyway, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this hotel to others."

"The room was very dark with only 2 bedside lights and a lamp on the dressing table. There was no central light which meant that we had to rely on daylight if we wanted to read or do anything like that. This was during the late spring so it must be really dark in the autumn/winter.
