"Very nice budget hotel, right in the city center, a kilometer from High Street and an easy walk from the train station. Bus stop just up the street can get you anywhere you need to go. Easy Uber pickup and drop off as well. Good breakfast, clean rooms, helpful staff. Would stay again."

"A good hotel with clean comfortable rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Evening restaurant meals were okay with a pretty "standard" menu with an odd approach of staggering restaurant sittings for larger groups. The location is somewhat out of the way which makes getting there a little difficult without a car. Rooms do not have air conditioning and do not come with a fridge which I would have expected given the prices for rooms. I would stay again if visiting the area although pricing would be a consideration. I think it's a little overpriced."

"It took us half an hour to find it no 1 Prospect Road is half way down the road and our sat nav kept taking us to no 61 (who are apparently the family if the owner) abd told us they didn't know where the property was. You don't get duvet and white sheets but what you see in the photos which is a shame as the bed is comfortable. On the whole it wasn't a bad stay and the owner is very friendly and helpful"

"We had a wedding to attend and chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced and in good location. We were actually given an apartment which was amazing all facilities you could want. Spotlessly clean actually looked like no one had been in it before. Massive comfortable bed Great little kitchen area would have liked to have stayed longer. All staff were extremely helpful. Free parking. We booked breakfast and again was pleasantly surprised. All cooked fresh lovely ingredients served by staff that couldn't do enough for you. Having read some previous reviews I wasn't actually expecting too much. Can't obviously speak for all rooms but couldn't fault this place at all. Would 100% return if ever needed. Thank you Brentwood Hotel."
