"Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. "

Great cafe which is attached to the cafe, which residents can access directly. Had a great breakfast butty there. Host Allison was extremely welcoming and helpful. Plenty private parking. Just be careful when you fling back the curtains if you have a sea view... you are literally overlooking lots of dog walkers, children going to the beach etc! Make sure you are decent 😆....

"Ideally situated close to the centre of Berwick Upon Tweed. Excellent value for money. Compact room with small double bed, comfortable enough but a bit creaky. TV, Kettle and fridge in room aswell as a hairdryer. A few minor issues that could be improved upon are; TV is ok if you are connecting somwthing to it but the signal for the digital channels is terrible. There is no mirror next to plug sockets for styling hair etc. There are only 3 parking spaces and when we were there the first night,...
