"This is a dated, solid 3-star hotel. The interior finishes all need a serious refresh. I was on the ground floor in a nice room, but the Wi-Fi was terrible and they stuck me down by the mechanical plant and housekeeping offices. Normally not a bid deal but they left the doors open to the mechanical room the entire time I was in my room. They also need to update the quality and number of WAPs. They were confused when I asked if they had a "business center" because they don't. Given the quality of the Wi-Fi in my room, it would've been nice if they had one.😊 The Colonial Grille is awesome; it is a shining star for this somewhat tired hotel. The restuarant/bar staff are awesome, and the food is good American fare. The bar is a lot of fun, and it's big. This is a local destination for weddings. I was there from Friday to Sunday in late October and I think there were not less than 3 weddings."

"This was a lovely property with interesting history. The new owner was very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast was fantastic. Great location for seeing New England in the fall, & easy parking."

"I stayed at this Marriott for 12 days. On the mirror in the bathroom it states “Every other day refresh, every 7 days full service”. Once someone came in to empty trash and clean towels, that was my sixth day at the hotel. I asked if he was going to clean my room, he referred me to the housekeeping manager. When I saw the housekeeping manager and explained my situation I quote” I don’t know I didn’t work yesterday “. Really this is the response from a manager? The proper answer would be to a customer I’ll look into it. Still no one cleaned my room. I put my dirty towels in the hall several times. Housekeeping picked up my towels but didn’t leave clean towels. I had to go to the lobby to request cleans towels several times from Jill. No one emptied my trash or dusted my room. I even requested Jill at the front desk to have my room cleaned. Jill also stated she would refer this to her manager. No one came.Still no one cleaned my room. I told Abbey at the front desk at check, I was told he’d be in at 7 am. I came down at 8 am. Abbey told me he wasn’t in yet. I checked back at 9 am and told the same thing he isn’t in yet. When I checked out at 11 am, Abbey stated she hasn’t had a chance to talk to him. I waited 2 days for someone to contact me. Nothing….. Jill was exceptionally helpfully and empathetic to my situation."

"Clean comfortable room with a comfortable bed. I didn’t like the smell of whatever cleaning product they used, it was a bit bit strong let the kind you used to cover up something. Was this recently a smoking hotel? Also I missed an cycle in the fitness center, although the machines that were there seemed to work well. All in all it’s about what you would expect for a moderately priced hotel in New Hampshire during leaf peeper season."
