Great Bombay Saturday dinner selection - what a lovely extra surprise. Lovely, attentive and efficient staff, every one, from chefs to reception. Peaceful landscaped grounds for refreshing wander after long drive. Superb value breakfast. Highly recommend."

"I stayed at the Dover Marina Hotel & Spa prior to my cruise and overall had a pleasant stay. The hotel is full of character and appears to be housed in a historic building, which gives it a charm that many modern hotels lack. "Margaret was incredibly helpful in providing suggestions on how to navigate the city and provided excellent suggestions for restaurants. The morning breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our room was very spacious, the couch was very comfortable and the bed was fantastic. After a full day of walking around Dover, this was a very special retreat. The views are just amazing. We will plan a trip to spend more time with Margaret."

"Loved having access to a kitchen and a washing machine, much needed after 3 wks camping. Beds were supper comfy cozy, and contrary to other reviews we did not find the street noise bothersome, and we had the windows open. Traffic noise calmed by midnight. Place was very well looked after by hardworking staff, we saw staff regularly in the 4 days we stayed. Shout out to them, because it's deplorable the mess other guests left in the kitchen. "We recently attended a nearby wedding and stayed at The Five Bells, an amazing family-run pub and B&B. The family room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with complimentary toiletries that were especially appreciated as we’d forgotten ours at home. Mary and her daughters were incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this lovely place."

"The family room was a good size and clean unfortunately the double bed had a dreadful squeak at every movement! However for one nights stay it was absolutely fine. I needed to wash and sterilise some baby bottles and despite it being 10pm the staff were very helpful and came back to give me access to the kitchen and microwave ( which again was very clean and tidy) we left too early for breakfast but I wouldn’t hesitate to book again for an overnight stop"

"Hotel is not fit to house a dog. Blood and semen on the bed, bed made out of wood, exposed electrics, shower door that doesn’t close. Half the building had pigeons flying around inside which we seen as we pulled up. All was reported to reception and asked for a refund, which was refused. We left and booked another hotel! After 2 hours of phone calls to hotels.com they agreed to refund for our booking. "
