"Booked this motel twice now. Exceptionally clean room and property. The people who own and run the motel are very friendly and helpful. I like that you park your vehicle in front of your room and it’s very affordable to stay here. Very quiet as it’s just outside Port Hope, but all amenities are within a 5-10 minute drive."

"I stayed here for four nights. The room was clean and quiet. Quiet until the fourth day when a woman with a dog occupied the room beside me. She left the dog in the room for three hours and it barked non-stop. So, be prepared to hear your neighbor if you are unfortunate enough to have one who is inconsiderate. Otherwise, for the price, this hotel is worth the stay. There's several places to eat within a two to five minute walk."

"The suite is old, and so may not appeal to everyone. It doesn't have AC so could be a hot box in summer, but there are plenty of fans and lots of open windows. There is lovely, tiny balcony off the kitchen, facing the back garden. I stayed for just one evening and was quite comfortable. The place suited me perfectly. "We stayed for one night at the end of June. Absolutely zero complaints. Hotel is only 1 month old so everything is new. Room was spacious and quiet. Restuarant / pub on site was a bonus although we only used it for the free breakfast which was basic but good. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended and we will stay there again."

"Stayed here for a wedding nearby and the stay was great! The room was very clean and spacious! The staff are very polite and informative with any and all questions asked! I don’t usually like breakfast at hotels but I must say that this one surprised me! So much to choose from and lots of seating! I would return again and recommend to our friends & family!"

"This hotel is outdated in the best possible way— it feels like going to a rich relative's house in the 90s. Ornate and stylish, lots of character to the place. Tub also had jets, which was a great surprise. Room had a fireplace, but it was summer so they had the gas turned off.
