"Location on Kata Noi made for a relaxing stay. Mostly families, couples and singles, so no loud beach crowd. The beach was powdery white sand, the water inviting with 2 no-boat areas sectioned off for swimmers. Quite an array for the complimentary breakfast. Staff easily assisted with day trips and activities. Housekeeping staff is the best, making sure guests have everything they need. In addition to a gorgeous beach, there are a number of pools. Recommended!"

Sugar Marina Hotel - NAUTICAL - Kata Beach
4.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (267)
"We were supposed to stay 6 nights here, but every room we were given had hair or blood stains in the beds. We had to change 4 different times to 4 different rooms, each room either had sheets with blood stains, hair everywhere or just over all dirty rooms... The staff was extremely nice, obviously it's not the receptions fault, so they then switched our hotels to Surf (their sister hotel in Kata). We are staying here now but this hotel is even run down.. Pool is murky/unclean, definitely won't...

"There was nothing unique about the place. Buffet was below average. Most of staff spoke Myanmar and very little English. Made for long check in. Staff didn’t know what the other staff was talking about. Catered to a certain clientele and we were sort of pushed aside. I would not recommend it to family or friends. 👎👎👎"
