Really enjoyed the experience. The facilities were lovely. Can’t go past the pool and the beach. It was so scenic! With a family there were lots of activities for the kids to do including beach games and football that were hosted by Miraggio staff. The music of an evening in the oasis lounge was a highlight as was the thermal spa. (However 50 euro additional charge for the spa) Only draw back was the cost and not a lot of variety of restaurants (4- one was closed) so you end up going to the same ones over and over, which got a bit boring. You need to have car as we went into pkehori one night and it cost 40 euros for the taxi there and back - 10min ride. We will come back to Miraggio but we will book a club room or a room closer to the pool and rent a car at Thessaloniki airport.

Very bad experience
As a VIP customer, I expect an upgraded room when available. The reception made the opposite - downgraded me to the worst room in the hotel, asking money for updrade, when at least 33% of the hotel is EMPTY. In the room - sinks where plumbed, balcony is below the road level, blocked by the road one meter from it. Lights went on and off during the night without control, waking us up again and again. Outside - due to rain - sea shore, all pools and restaurents were closed. Inside spa was available for extra charge, but, so croudy - not even enough chairs for all the people there. Simply terrible!!

The beach was great but the staff would remove our thing if they saw no one at the chairs. This was very Annoying since we were swimming only to come out the water and our things were missing. Other then this issue the resort was great

We were mislead by hotel call center and later they even said that email correspondence is fake, apparently due to cyber breach, and the promised deal cannot be accepted. We were told we will get some extra benefits as compensation but it was followed partly without real attention to the security breach the hotel had which affected us, the costumer. I dont recommend this hotel due to the way they treat thier guests

They need to work on the food. The food was not really for 5 Stars resort. We have 5-6 different family our friends together with us on vacation and everyone was complaining about the food.

The Miraggio was a pleasing stay, however that it was overpriced. We always stay in 5* hotels. We felt that for the price we paid we should have been offered half board. The price for the buffet restaurant was ridiculous. €45 per adult and €20 for children over 5 was extortionate, considering what we had already paid for the room. We had submitted a complaint regarding their failure to tell us children were not free. A manager kindly spoke to us and offered to waive €50 for late check out. We thought this was really kind and made us feel good about our stay as our flight was so late, this gave us more time to enjoy the hotel. However at check out, when we went to pay for our extras the lady behind the counter just told us the amount without providing a full breakdown of the costs incurred, tapped it into card machine and asked us to pay. I then thought I would like to see a full receipt of our costs just to make sure the overall price was correct. We have stayed in 5* hotels across the world, whenever we check out the staff ALWAYS prints out the full balance and presents it to us so we can understand how the amount has been calculated. The lady agreed to give me a printout but then proceeded to stuff it into an envelope. I said no need for envelope I want to see balance now. When we looked the fee of €50 was added to our bill. Had I not asked for a breakdown we would have paid. She corrected the amount. I found this very unprofessional.

Α brilliant resort lying in a hill in 6 levels with private beach and pools with warm sea water,an amazing view,very clean and high quality of service.The only one issue the cats going around the tables in lunch time.

Beautifully hotel, very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast is very good Dinner wasn't tasty, and not hot. They charge 3.5 euro for water, and in their Italian restaurant 6 euro for water..why?makes is abset. The water in the spa should be hot.

Its a nice hotel with a lot of potentials, unfortunately, it's not a 5* Hotel to me. Food is really bed for lunch and dinner, Breakfast is nice with no diversity. It's hard to get out of the hotel just to eat 20 minutes drive minimum with little kids...

Great relaxing family holiday
Perfect place if you want to get away from the busy life and be just within the resort nothing for 5km. The entertainment particularly the show Miraggio On Ice was excellent stars from around the world. All staff were always helpful and friendly especially Vitalis from the entertainment team. Only had a couple of issues that I was not happy with which were :- 1, Flys in restaurant area few of the times. We did report it to the management. 2, very disappointed that no water was provided for drinking except 2 500ml bottles when you check in and at other times you had to purchase each bottle for €3. I did point this out at checking in that it was very petty they had to do this at least sell them at a reasonable price.

Not what I have expected from a 5 star hotel
Nice hotel, the food is bed especially the restaurants for lunch and dinner. All the pools are sea water it’s important to mention (I don’t think it’s amazing for kids) we didn’t know until we checked in. The location is very far and not really recommended to people wants to go and travel during the day. Overall it’s ok hotel with a lot of potential to be great hotel.

The worst service ever , beach covered with rocks
I have never experienced such a bad service like in this place. It's not understaffed , that could be a good excuse if it was . Quite contrary , they place had endless people working there all appearing to be confused and not knowing answer to anything , making mistakes in each and every situation . Everything went wrong from the moment when we stepped in . First , there should be " welcome drink " as you wait for them to find the room for you ( we came there at 2;20 pm and room was not ready ) But there was no any welcome drink . No any VIP checking-in either as it says on my booking that it should be . Moving on , the room was average , not properly cleaned, for 3 of us they have left for us only 2 towel sets. For 3 beach towels again they gave us only 2 " towel cards " so again no beach towels for all 3 of us . There should be a bottle of vine waiting at our room , as per my booking. Of course it wasn't there . I had to complain about it 3-4 times before they eventually brought. When we booked another restaurant ( Italian ) at the hotel there was supposed to be one time 50 Euro discount . Of course they have made a mistake and made only 30 Euro discount , I had to complain to have that corrected . For around 300 Euro per day we got " Garden View Room " which was actually view at the wall and passing vehicles / supply tracks . The hotel beach - do not bother , huge endless sharp rocks. We really regret choosing this place . Never again .

The hotel is high level with many facilities and big rooms. Service is good, however I wouldn't recommand to use hotel service for day trips or any other activities they are offering. Hotel would charge 3 times more then making the reservations by yourself. Hotel is located at a remote area with no close by towns, so car is a must if you want to be mobile. All in all except for the activity booking services hotel is recommended.

Everything about the resort is excellent. Views, services, food, spa, kids club, pools and beach area, cleanliness. We can't wait to get back to this hotel. However, couple minor issues. 1. Hotel has a policy of charging 6 euros for every room service order, no matter how big or small. When asked about it at front desk and guest relations, I was told by 3 different people that every 5* hotel does it. As if educating a little person like me that I knew nothing of this 5* luxury life. Forcing me to explain that I have traveled before and have seen other 5* hotels and have Never experienced room service charge. 2. Few times when aksed about certain services, first thing we were told is 'it's extra', without realising the issue (example: refilling the free coffee/tea station in the room). 3. For a hotel of high class and corresponding prices, you could educate staff at the front desk and guest relations on how to talknto the guests. 4. Restaurant, bars, valet parking, beach staff, kids club staff were all absolutely fantastic. Overall, top notch hotel and we will definitely be visiting again.
