"Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. The property was very poorly maintained and did not match the expectations set by the listing whatsoever. The moment I entered the hallway and room, there was an overwhelming cigar/smoke smell, to the point where the mattress and pillows themselves wreaked of cigarettes, despite the property advertising itself as non-smoking. What made the experience even worse was how helpless and unprepared the staff seemed when the issue was brought...

"Be aware that if you plan to cruise or use the airport shuttle, do your research. The location is not close to the cruise port, so you will pay a lot in taxi fares. The airport shuttle only runs from 9 am to 5 pm. If you have a large group, they will not accommodate the whole group, plus you have to reserve in advance. "The room itself was nice. It was clean and updated. The hotel had a nice terrace. Unfortunately the hotel had a pretty frequent sewage smell that built during the night. The fume/sewage gas smell was strong if the windows were closed at all. The housekeeping women were very nice and helpful. The manager was nice, but didn’t give much help. He was unable to give directions/options for dining in the area. I would pick a different area of Italy to visit."
