The stay was awesome. Room was perfect. Loved it. The only issue we had was with a rude hostess at the restaurant attached to the hotel. Maybe she had a bad day, but she was far from welcoming. Other then that, super.

We didnt like the older long hairedan at check in. Completely lazy, did not offer to help with bags or anything. If your bahs are heavy, good luck with the stairs if you get this man. Copied our passports for some reason too. Asked the other front desk help and they had no idea why, or where he put this vital info. And they charge for extras like hot water kettle to make in room coffee which there was none to begin with. The pillows were terrible so we asked for smaller pillows and they charged for delivery of these pillows that werent even smaller.. Bonus points for location only. Its a run down place for sure with no access to the room A/C. Its a set temp and not cool enough for July in Karlovy Vary. It was a heat wave! Stear clear, not worth the money.

Good morning,the International Film Festival was taking place during your stay. There is a high turnover of people and the receptionists have to check in a lot of people at once, so they copy their passports so they can hand over the room keys and check in do later. We try to save your time. We do not have coffee sets in the room and the kettle is for a fee as we state everywhere. If the pillows do not suit you, our maid will be happy to bring you another type or another piece. The air conditioning has been running since the beginning of June. Thank you for positively evaluating the location of our hotel.

Staff unavailable when calling reception !!!!!!! they don't even call back ! No coffee maker in the room and Breakfast don't start until 8 am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we had to leave at 5:30 am to catch our Bus back to Prague and I did mention it to the reception guy ( with better English ) the day before ! on the darling morning of our departure , a female receptionist with bare understanding of English and perhaps worst Desk skills tells me that I OWE over 5200 Koruna ( total cost of our stay)!!!! Even after repeatedly mentioning to her that the amount have been paid MONTHS ago view Hotel.ca she kept pointing to the stupid bill that she printed and requesting the total amount ! I showed her my internet hotel.com bill history and told her that the amount has been paid and she then proceed by saying that the amount is for stay and Spa ( minimal English / just saying " you pay this amount & you used spa)!!!!!!! Frustrated , I told her that I was not going to wait all day for her to figure out her error and I had a bus to catch ( hoping she could understand ) and told her that I'm NOT going to repay her the money and left !!!!!!!! absolute disaster . DO NOT GO THERE !!!!!!!

A nice enough property but the climate control in the room did not work, flat pillows, poor bedding, Wi-Fi did not work. It is a grand property they should invest a bit to ensure customers have a good night's sleep. Service and breakfast were good.

Totally recommended! Visit the hotel with my wife, my 20-month-old baby and my Chihuahua dog. They treated us super well, great detail to let us in before 2 pm, for our baby. Thank you very much!

I adored the old-world charm and friendly staff. I was just disappointed that the hotel didn't let us know beforehand that the pool was still closed for quarantine, since they were open for the rest of the country. That said, they worked to make up with for it with a fantastic breakfast from room service and really friendly service.

The junior suite was absolutely amazing! My husband and I stayed here for just a night, but we wish we could’ve stayed more! The grand cafe has great food as well!

The Ambassador is excellent and I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel. Great service, staff, Breakfast and location. The thing is their fitness facilities. The have only Elliptical and stationary bike. And that’s OK for me and serve the purpose. But the problem is the location. They were place in unventilated small area In front oxygen therapy room. No air conditioning and suggest strongly to them to put them in a bigger room that is ventilated and cool. Also to add small weight like dimples

Very nice spa hotel
Lovely spa hotel with treatments available and access to pool and saunas. Very nice, big room and spacious bathroom. Good buffet breakfast. Near to bus stop travelling to/from Prague.

Channeling the Spa Culture
We felt like 19th century nobility during our stay in Karlovy Vary. This hotel was magnificent in all dimensions, from the reception to the breakfast/dining salon to the spacious and comfortable room itself. Definitely the place to stay in this historic spa town.

During on business trip..
there's located a good place for visitors. however, you have to pay 8€ per a day,if you want to use parking lot in the hotel. I got a feeling they don't like Guests to reserve by smartphone apps as Expedia and Hostels.com. they want to keep and like themselves traditional ways!!!

the parking in city center cost app 10 EUR/par day as everywhere in city center is not free of charge, we support all newaday technology as genius program for booking guest or expedia prefer program but best way is always book your room at our web pages

Avoid if you can!
There was no ac in their rooms, it’s only a ventilation. The reception were not even bother to ask if I enjoyed my stay. The bed sheets doesn’t get changed until it’s a 3 days old. The breakfast if just a sad experience. Specially the eggs. To add to this, the hot water at the time I was there got mixed with coffee and the staff were acting as if it’s normal.

Great hotel in a great location.
Great hotel - very very clean. Breakfast was really good. The service was good but at times could have been better (e.g. there is no ramp into hotel which was hard to access with buggy and luggage). Swimming pool was lovely and cool. Gym a little sparse. Otherwise excellent - thank you!

Older but updated hotel in upper and less crowded area of town. Full spa services and pool and saunas in hotel. Close to restaurants and shopping. Good parking if driving there.

There is absolutely nothing bad to say about this hotel. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfasts were substantial and good but unremarkable. The hotel has a lively bar/cafe and seemed very popular with locals and tourists alike. On the whole the hotel had an odd Communist era feel about it - a bit faded and not as good as it could be.

Good hotel in Karlovy Vary
A very good hotel with decent rooms, good restaurant, and attached spa. Close to the train and bus stations, and about ten minutes walk from the main spa area.

Great! Fully recommend!
It was great! Perfect location walking distance to everything, with great restaurant options as well. We stayed in the winter and it the room and shower were warm and comfortable.The breakfast was great too!

Total dissapointment: never ever
1) We reserved Classic double room, but were charged for an upgraded room. We didn't ask for any upgrade, the room didn't have any upgrade facilities. Cheating! 2) by phone we got price of 5 € per day for parking. On arrival those 5 € became 9 €, again cheating 3) swimming pool is 11 meters long, but narrow metal through, connected to a canalisation. It was impossible to enjoy pool feeling smell of sewage 4) staff is rude 5) housekeeper - we asked her to come later, she didn't come at all, room was not cleaned. 6) "junior suite", for which we have paid supposes to have kettle as a basic facility. It was not there; was provided at extra cost. 7) we have permanent residence at Czech republic, and no any hotel within EU did never ask any other document except ID card. This was the only hotel, which required also international passports which we don't carry with us. Nothing good at the hotel, except location.

Dear customer, 1) You reserved double classic and you received upgrade to room that has 35 sqm instead classic 30 sgm + bigger bathroom with bidet. 2) Self parking fee: EUR 9.00 per night, this information is mentioned at the web and price is for all same 3) a swimming pool has 11 x 4 meter, we are historic building we are limiting space, the spa area is desinficating every day 4) can you specify rude staff (SPA, F&B, Reception) 5) our staff for housekeeping mayby did not understand in case you have any individual request is better contact reception clerk who speak 3 languages 6) your reservation is for double classic and you paid only double classic no room has a kettle as a basic facility 7) you are resident of czech republic but you did not provide valid ID that's we we required passport. Sorry for inconvenience stay, for all this cases is always present magerer on duty. Please contact.
