"I had a super stay here. It is really nice that the B&B actually provides breakfast along with tea and coffee and crackers. That makes the morning much easier. Also, I unexpectedly had an overnight guest and the hotelier allowed me to bring the other guest in the guest room. This was much appreciated."
Kariega Game Reserve - Ukhozi Lodge

"The reserve has comfortable chalets. The game drives were amazing thou sometimes were felt borderline dangerous due to very close encounters with lions and especially with the large herd of elephants with babies, that became agitated by our car proximity. Fortunately, all encounters ended peacefully. Our guide/driver Brendon had 21 years of experience in the reserve, thanks to him we had unforgettable experience of finding and meting almost all the species in reserve, as I mentioned mostly face to face: lions (full family of 7), elephants, buffalos, rhinos, hippos (that's 4 out of big 5), not to mention zebras, elands, springboks, wildebeests, herds of giraffes to mention a few. Would recommend visiting the reserve, We spent there full 2 days what was more than enough to not repeat same experiences, if we were staying longer."
