A wonderful hotel

The hotel is in nice location, beautiful and the room is modern, big and comfortable. The food is good, above all, all the employeed from south Africa are so friendly and helpful and hard working.

Our stay at the Royal St. Andrews Hotel over the Christmas holidays was truly exceptional. Despite the busy season, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism that instantly made us feel relaxed and welcome. The staff, led by the admirable hotel manager, Difford, went above and beyond to ensure our holiday stay was special. The housekeeping service, particularly by Bonnie, was outstanding. Our room was impeccably maintained each day, providing a serene and spotless haven to return to amidst the festive hustle. Bonnie’s attention to detail and dedication significantly enhanced our comfort during the stay. The hotel’s ability to create a peaceful atmosphere during one of the busiest times of the year was impressive. The blend of festive charm and modern amenities ensured our stay was both delightful and relaxing. The festive decorations and ambience added to the joy of our holiday, making it a Christmas to remember. Beautiful bedrooms, friendly and helpful staff, fantastic hot and cold buffet for breakfast, great chef in the Highlander Pub too, and conveniently located. I enjoyed waking to the Bygones Bookstore and Handmade Coffee (Ciabatta loaves were delicious). Also walke down to Kelly's Beach and then along the beach to Guido's Restaurant. Rosehill Mall is also a short drive away. We went in winter and the days were around 20 degrees. The hotel is in a lovely setting, close to the golf club, which includes pickleball courts. Beds are very comfortable and bedrooms spacious.

Am Aussenpool waren Liegenauflagen auch auf Nachfrage nicht vorhanden. Es wurden nur Handtücher für die Liegen angeboten. Es ist unbequem, ohne Liegenauflagen darauf zu liegen.

Ein nettes Hotel mit schöner Einrichtung und Außengestaltung, sehr freundlichem Personal und einer insgeamt sehr angenehmen Atmosphäre. Das Frühstücksangebot ist reichhaltig und preiswert. Hervorragend ist auch das Essen in dem am Hotel angeschlossenen Pub sowie dessen Weinkarte.

The dog next door to the hotel barked the entire night and early in the morning. I am sure it barked throughout the day as well, but we were playing golf and at the beach during the day. The hotel is fabulous though and the staff is amazing. Do not waste your time going to The Thistle. The food is overpriced and the portions are incredibly small. The Highlander I would highly recommend. The food was good and portions in relation to price was very good.
