We stayed at Sagara for 2 nights when we first arrived to Bali. The room was beautiful and very clean, air conditioning worked great. The main street in front of the hotel is very loud/busy (like a lot of places in Bali) but we were extremely surprised that when we got to our room it was so quiet and we couldn't hear any noise from the street. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, they drove us to Padangbai on our last morning and because we left so early, breakfast hadn't started yet but they packed us a to go box of food so we wouldn't be hungry. Would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful place
Very nice hotel. Set breakfast was good. The pool and the view is amazing. The only complaint I have is that the shower water pressure was intermittent.

I liked most things about the property just found the pool area rather small but all in all a great place to stay...would definetley stay there agsin and recommend to other tourists..

Thumbs up for a quiet getaway
The property is new and well maintained. It was quiet and peaceful, perfect for a couples getaway. The room and amenities were nice and clean. The food can be improved but the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I thought the pool was bigger from the pictures. There is also no shoreline to walk or lounge on.

Excellent Hotel Experience
This hotel was an excellent find. We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights as a part of our honeymoon trip to Bali. This hotel provided a modern and luxurious alternative to typical Balinese accommodation. The staff couldn’t have been more polite or accommodating to help with any requests or needs. The gorgeous infinity pool provided an excellent viewing point over the ocean and was consistently clean during our stay - as was the rest of the hotel. The room and bathroom were of a high standard and housekeeping kept everything looking lovely. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends who were looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing to stay.

endroit sans classe à éviter absolument
Hôtel réservé sur base de sa bonne note, de ses bons commentaires et du fait qu'il avait le sigle "plage". Quelle déception! Petit hôtel donnant sur la route, enclavé entre 2 immeubles en travaux, et bruyant. Draps tachés (excréments) à notre arrivée, et donc changés à notre demande. Rien n'est propre: éclaboussures sur le mur de la salle d'eau, près du wc; au restaurant: même constat: nappe dégoûtante. Quelques chaises longues coincées le long d'une piscine minuscule: impossible de circuler tellement c'est étroit + mauvaises odeurs + serviettes mises à disposition repliées après usage et réutilisées sans être lavées. PAS DE PLAGE! Rien aux alentours. Petit déjeuner: basique et très moyen (choix entre un pan cake et un oeuf). Endroit plus cher qu'un 5 * (40.000 idr pour un coca contre 25.000 dans un 5*, chambre ici à 150$ alors qu'on a une chambre et un déjeuner sous forme de buffet à 100$ à Benoa dans un 5*); ici, tout fait cheap. Rien ne justifie l'appellation boutique, cette appellation supposant un endroit cosy et élégant, ce qui n'est pas le cas ici. Personnel: des gamins gentils mais sans expérience, exploités par leur patron. Je ne comprends pas comment cet hôtel a pu récolter de bons commentaires et des notes correctes. J'ai vraiment eu l'impression de m'être fait avoir et d'avoir été trompé sur cet établissement.

Super hotel med fantastisk udsigt.
Rigtig dejligt hotel med super beliggenhed/udsigt. Candidasa er ikke verdens navle (en gennemgående hovedvej) men der er mulighed for indkøb og et godt udbud af restauranter - også gode (Vincent´s). Lækre værelser med alt hvad dertil hører. AC´en levede som så mange andre steder sit eget liv og var svær at indstille til en komfortabel temp. (Enten for kold eller varm). Poolområde er meget elegant og der er en god service af venligt personale. God morgenmad (ikke buffet) og et fast menúkort (samme frokost/aften) som bærer præg af præfabrikeret mad. Smager dog fint og er lækkert uden man falder på halen af det. Kan kun anbefale Sagara Candidasa hvis man er på de kanter.

Fantastisk ophold
Hotellet er relativt nyt med god beliggenhed i Candidasa. Vi tilbragte to nætter her og følte os godt taget hånd om. Alle medarbejderne var super venlige og stod til rådighed 24/7. Vi valgte at spise på hotellet to aftener, da maden var rigtig god og det var hyggeligt placeret ved poolen med udsigt til havet. Alt i alt en rigtig dejlig oplevelse på dette hotel ;)

Neues Hotel mit Potenzial
Das Sagara ist wohl erst seit März 2018 geöffnet, was den Vorteil hat, dass weder Zimmer noch Anlage abgewohnt sind, sondern in tollem beuen Zustand. Der Front Desk macht einen sehr professionellen Eindruck, dass überall sehr junge Personal, ist freundlich und äußerst hilfsbereit. Im Restaurantbereich muss noch einiges verbessert werden. Der Kaffee lässt Kaffeebohnen leider nur entfernt erahnen; wenn man einen der schönsten Tische nahe am Wasser hat, wird dieser auch eher selten nachgegossen - scheinbar kann man nur eines haben - entweder nen schönen Ausblick beim Frühstück oder genügend Heißgetränk ;-) Die "fresh juices" sind so enttäuschend, wie abends die Cocktails. Wenn zum Frühstück alle Tische belegt sind (ca. 8!), kann man auch mal über 30Min. auf seine Eierspeise warten, die dann auch noch kalt serviert wird. Von den Backwaren schmecken nur die Muffins wirklich frisch. Das letzte Zimmer am Gang ist nicht zu empfehlen. Man hört dort zwar schön das Rauschen der Brandung, aber auch die Musik von Bar (Obergeschoss) und Restaurant (Untergeschoss) - ob man will, oder nicht. Die Poolanlage ist toll, aber wenn man nicht nach guter deutscher Manier morgens um 6h die Liegen belegt, hat man keine Chance auf einen Platz. Da kein Strand vor dem Hotel ist, hat man hier leider keine Alternativen. Taxen werden gerne vermittelt, aber leider auch zu überteuerten Touri-Preisen. Entweder nachverhandeln, oder im Internet nach Alternativen, am besten immer schon am Vortag schauen.

Petit hôtel tranquille en bord de mer . Piscine très agréable. Restaurant peu dispendieux et plusieurs autres à proximité. Personnel très attentionné. Le petit déjeuner est bien mais pourrait être amélioré. Les chambres sont modernes, grandes et tres bien décorées. Je conseilles cet hôtel à tous.
