Good budget self contained rooms
We enjoyed our stay but mostly confined to hotel being older and not being able to walk up and down hills. Great having a big room and kitchen to cook in as there are no restaurants in the hotel. Awful walk across the road and down to the beach. Cute little restaurant next door and the supermarket there has a great variety of items. Huge steps in the pool make access a little difficult. Great wifi. Great budget hotel for self contained unit. Needs some new coffee mugs and glasses etc.

Wonderful stay, great rooms & wonderful staff!
What a great stay! For starters the rooms are very comfortable- great air con, super comfy mattresses, balcony (on the second floor), hot water (although the water pressure was not great), but nice bathroom. The kitchenette allowed us to make our own eggs and toast and coffee in the mornings which was nice, you can buy these foods at the small store next door for a cheap price. The location was great for us, as we love snorkeling, so we rented snorkel gear from the hotel and literally walked across the street to the beach where there is really good snorkeling! Lastly the staff is terrific. Gede especially!-- he grilled fish with us one night, buying the ingredients and preparing a special Balinese sauce for it, and gave us a true local experience. Highly, highly recommend!!

The staff here made my stay amazing!!
Double one two, surprised me from the minute i arrived, its such a beautiful place, great location , im a single traveller, so fab for me, made some great friends here, the team here are amazing, tgey really go above and beyond to make you feel at ease, the pool is an added bonus, great walking distance to the beach, highly reccomend this location as perfect for relaxing, as i had just left aweful Kuta.

Good budget option
This is a good option for those looking for a basic self-contained unit that has easy access to Lipah beach. It has friendly staff and an excellent swimming pool. Get down to the beach early and watch the fishing boats coming back In.

Amazing spot for snorkling but a bit noisy
we loved having a kitchen in room #1 to cook our own meals. It was great to have a convinient grocery store right next door also. The best part was beingg able to walk across the street and go snorkling at one of the most premium spots in Bali. It is a great spot if you don't mind the busy main street motocyce noise, people next door talking, and very loud music unti almost eleven at night from a bar and grill a few doors down, If you want quiet you should book at Double One Villas Amed #1 which is very close with a stunning view, right on the ocean, quiet, has a beautiful pool and a nice restaurant and includes breakfast.

Good hotel with great service Close to Lipah beach
We initially planned on staying two nights, ended up staying ten. We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel's service was helpful and considerate on more than one occasion. First two nights stayed in villa #1 it was close to road and pool, which made it difficult if a light sleeper. Pool was very clean. We moved to a farther villa and noise was no issue. Room was clean, new and everything worked. The air conditioner functioned very well and for the first time in our trip we had hot water that kept is temperature. Fridge and kitchen were clean. Be careful of food in room. We left out fruit and ants soon found it. The ladies at desk came to rescue. Once we kept food in fridge ants were no longer issue. Very close to Lipah beach, under one minute walk. The beach was very well priced and had great snorkeling and relaxing. We also enjoyed a traditional barbecue of satays at a workers home. It was awesome to have a traditional experience like that. Was a great stay for a good price an would recommend to travelers.

Wanna cook?
I would not recommend this place unless u want to cook on old kitchen on your vacation. U need to have a transportation to stay at that hotel. I end up hiring taxi guy for 3 days.

Good, but....
We arrived a little early so our room wasn't quite ready; the manager therefore gave us a choice of rooms. In the first room, the fridge and sink had not been cleaned, so we chose the second room, which was brand new and had a balcony with a lovely view of the ocean and hills, along with a welcome breeze. The room was cleaned for us and they even installed a mirror before moving us in. There weren't any toiletries or washing up liquid etc, but there is a great shop next door that sells everything you need at cheap prices. Unfortunately we did have a bit of a battle getting towels as they were still being washed and we did experience no water for a short time and two power cuts. I think as it was a new room, there were a few teething problems. One of the girls at reception was not particularly helpful and even guided us through a work site and a hole in the wall to flip the fuse switch if we needed to! When we asked her if she could clean the room (mainly to sweep out the ants), she only made the beds but told the manager she had cleaned it. The manager was extremely apologetic, cleaned the room thoroughly for us, brought us clean towels and fixed the water problem. He also organised transport for us at a very competitive price and would have set up a snorkeling trip for us had the seas not been so rough. The hotel is in a great location - close to the beach and near lots of nice restaurants.

Awesome!
This place was great. Its about a 8 minute scooter ride from the "central" part of Amed. The small kitchen area was perfect. The whole unit in general was a great size for the money. The A/C blasted cold air. Shower had hot water. Wifi in room. Only complaint is we found 2 mice in the room....one was inside my pillow haha. but besides that, everything else was great. Right across from Lipah beach with great snorkeling.

Perfect spot for snorkeling and relaxing
Great place, separate villas with kitchen, good air con in huge bedroom. also has deck, hot water, nice pool. Best part is you can walk across the road to the beach and snorkel right there. Quiet neighborhood with some good restaurants nearby. Or do your own cooking. The young man working there, G'day, took me on his motorbike to celebrate Hindu new year with his family. An experience I won't forget. Thank you. I booked 2 days and stayed 6.

Lipah is an amazing place!!
This was an amazing place to stay, the staff and management were so friendly. It was very quiet whilst I was there, but I can imagine in High Season there would be a different atmosphere. Only 7 rooms in the complex. Just a short 50m walk to a great snorkelling beach. It costs 35,000 to hire all snorkelling equipment on the beach or take your own if you have.

We had a great relaxing three weeks in Lipah. We arrived at 5.30am to NO bottled water, they knew what time we where arriving as I had emailed them to organise a taxi for us. We planned ahead with the taxi as we knew bartering for a taxi at 2.30am after 17 hours travelling was not going to be nice. I'm glad we did as it looked like the only taxi drivers where one's with name tags. The bungalow was very basic, and by western standards dirty. The staff tried very hard to please us, but the bungalow is not automatically cleaned and you have to ask, we also had to point out large cobwebs they had missed (we are not 5 star clean freaks we just like the basics). Our bed was a superking (6ft) which is what we are use too (underneath had never been dusted). We didn't use the wardrobe as it smelt very damp. The AC worked on one setting, full on. Over head fans worked very well. The kitchenette was helpful for morning tea/coffee but we did have to buy a pan for £1 from the shop next door (apparently the owner also owns). The staff where very nice, they even brought us umbrella's as we had a couple of days of rain. The bungalows are of a local style and at the top of all the glass windows is open with just misquote nets. This means you can here everything around, screaming baby's, arguments, scraping chairs and late night chatter. The road can be noisy with the local lads passing regularly with loud exhausts on there scooters, we are used to some traffic noise and at night it was quiet.

A party was going on on Saturday night next to the hotel. Loud music. Loud voices. Hardly get enough sleep. Rental services, eg. Bicycle, motorbike, diving equipment, etc are all expensive. They seem to just name the price they are happy with. No fair deal. No fair rental. The girls are friendly but not the guys.

Séjour agréable proche de la plage avec un mini market a proximité. la propreté des draps et des serviettes négligées. Manque d'ustensiles dans la cuisine. Pas prête lors de notre arrivée. Il a fallu demander des verres des couteaux des fourchettes ....etc.

Village de vacances agréable avec piscine, chambre spacieuse, cuisine équipée, frigo, gazinière, ustensiles de cuisine, mixeur pour faire des jus de fruit frais, bouilloire etc... Un bon rapport qualité prix. Attention toutefois aux invités inattendus dans la salle de bains, des blattes de 10 cm. Mais ce n'est pas la petite bête qui va manger la grosse. À conseiller à une famille qui veut vivre en autonomie quelques jours. Supérette juste à côté.

Хороший отель с огромными тараканами.
Отель очень хороший за свои деньги. Но у него очень большой минус , из за чего мы в него не вернёмся, это огромные тараканы , очень огромные. Они до того огромные что можно за него даже запнутся , когда ночю идёшь в туалет. А один раз он залез к нам в постель и спал с нами. Когда я начел переворачиваться во сне на спину , то его придавил и он меня укусил. До утра я уже заснуть не смог. Они ещё и летают.

Jag och min sambo trivdes inte med alla kackelackor i badrummet och köket. Dåligt isolerat och hål överallt + att köksutrustningen var i dåligt skick. Mysigt ställe i övrigt men inte ett ställe vi skulle åka tillbaka till.

Smeriger appartementen op mooie locatie
Helaas een enorme tegenvaller. Op het eerste gezicht, gezellige huisjes tot dat je naar binnen gaat. De badkamer was smerig en absoluut niet schoon gemaakt. Lekkende douche met als resultaat, de hele vloer nat. Slecht werkende airco. Boven ramen zit houtwerk dat open is en de geplaatste horren zijn beschadigd waardoor er beesten naar binnen kunnen. De straat is erg druk en doordat de ramen open zijn is het gehorig. In de omgeving geen pinautomaat, houdt hier rekening mee.

Les Villas Amed 2 n'ont qu'un point positif: la magnifique piscine. Pour le reste, ça tombe en ruine, sans parler des millions de fourmies et des deux coquerelles (dont une géante!) dans la chambre. L'eau chaude et l'Internet sont instables... Bref, à éviter à tout prix!

Supernice stay!
We had a great time here. Amed is really great, quiet and awesome snorkelling! The rooms villas are big and comfy. We cooked our own food in the kitchen witch was nice. We blended smoothies every morning. Superfriendly staff that even went to a morning market before work and bought us tons of nice fruit and vegetebals.

ビーチに近く清潔な部屋
すごく広く清潔。たまに水が出ないが普段は水圧もスゴく良く水の出は良い。すべての窓とドアの上が閉める事の出来ない網戸がありエアコンの効きが悪い。朝食付きじゃないのが残念。値段と部屋を見ると上出来き。短い滞在なら又泊まりたい。スタッフはフレンドリー。 Big and clean room, friendly stuffs are speak English. Beach,food place,bar,money changer, all close. I would like stay there again.

Loistava sijainti, ranta aivan tien toisella puolen missä hyvät snorkkelointi mahdollisuudet. Henkilökunta todella asiansa osaavaa ja erittäin ystävällistä. Huoneet tilavia ja keittiössä kaikki tarpeellinen jotta saat itse kokkailtua mitä haluat, tosin läheltä löytyy hyviä paikallista ja länsimaista ruokaa sopuhintaan tarjoavia puljuja. Altaalle paistaa kivasti aurinko ja se oli erittäin siisti.
