Its proximity to the Kaohsiung Train station, is the biggest plus point. Although the hotel is old, it has been well maintained and is very clean. The bed is also very comfortable. The breakfast had a good selection of items from coffee, teas, hot chocolate, soy milk, soybean pudding, croissant and breads, porridge, salad, cooked food items and fruits. The best bonus of all is the spacious cafe style lounge area that is open for 24 hours where you can chill at for free coffee, tea, ice cream and more. It's value for money. Definitely will return if we come back to Kaohsiung.

Great hotel - spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Easy check-in procedure. My children were thrilled by the all day ice cream option. Breakfast included - lots of choices. Great place to stay in Kaohsiung.

We have been staying at this location for years. It is very convenient to the train station, though slightly less than the equally good rear station location. The complementary laundry facilities are excellent, the lounge area with snacks is nice, and the staff are very helpful. The accommodations are not luxurious, but for basic needs they are quite acceptable.

The best hotel I've stayed at in Taiwan and the best price to quality of any hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff is friendly and courteous. The facilities are clean and the amenities are unbeatable. Free ice cream, water, and breakfast buffet. It's so very conveniently located in front of the main railway station and close by to the biggest night market in the city. I wish this hotel was available in every city and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to everybody. 5 out of 5 stars.

This is an exceptional property! Right across from the train station which makes it so easy to get anywhere in the city or to go on self guided tours! The amenities are amazing. Such a great value. All is very good, courtesy of the staff in particular. Only dissatisfaction is printer is always out of pages and when asked, they would always only add 4-5 pages, even though was allowed to print up to 10 pages per day. Very unprofessional and so I stopped asking after the 3rd day. At another Kindness hotel, where I am staying now in Tainan, there is always an additional pack of papers next to the printer.

Excellent cleanliness! No issues with Wi-Fi connection. Located near the Kaohsiung train station, convenient for those traveling to Zuoying High speed rail station. Free laundry machines and dryers are available for hotel guests.

Kindness-Main Station is a step above nearby Kindness, I thought the extra amenities were worth the extra cost. < 5-minute walk to TRA and MRT lines. Kind courteous staff, and a lovely cafe, workplace with snacks.

As always, the room is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff, especially the cleaning lady, are very friendly and helpful. The food provided at breakfast and night snack time is also very tasty though simple. If there is any need for improvement, it may be the need to change the menu from time to time. I have been staying in this hotel every time I visit Kaohsiung for the past few years, and eating the same kind of food at breakfast and night snack time. It would be a nice surprise if I can try one or two new dishes the next time I stay here.

This hotel lives up to its great reviews. The staff are super nice and friendly. They provided not only breakfast but also evening snack buffet. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Kaohsiung.

I like this hotel cleanliness and its staff..Good hotel amenities and good breakfast buffet and dinner buffet which are all free...Nice selection of buffet,one of the best in Kaoshiung...A plus in this hotel,you get free self service laundry and a coffee lounge with coffee machine,cookies and various types of ice cream..Laundry and coffee lounge are open 24 her...Highly recommended...I will give this hotel rating 10.5 out of 1 to 10..Better than those 5 star hotels I had stayed before....Excellent...
