They made me feel at ease and helped me plan the perfect island activities. Breakfast on the patio was the best way to start the day -– fresh fruit, perfectly cooked eggs and bacon, and coffee that actually perked me up. Exploring the local spots on the island for lunch and dinner was fun, but the resort's breakfast was hard to beat. Ask the host Cha to arrange everything for you and you won’t regret it. If you're looking for an island getaway without pretension, where you can truly unwind and feel welcomed, Phumiphat Resort is a wonderful choice. I wouldn't hesitate to go back."

"We stayed here for five nights in two different rooms. The grounds of the hotel are lovely, well maintained and with a semi private beach. This hotel is a bit out of the way but if you are looking for a quite laid back spot this is it. My one and only complaint would be the beds, they were really hard!!! "

"When I take the night train to Trang I always stay at Thumrin because it is big enough to always have a room available for early check-in. Decor and furnishings a little long in the tooth but who cares at this price. Corner rooms have nice view but all the windows can challenge the air-con."
