The hotel is within walking distance to the mall nearby. There are also plenty of restaurants within 500 meters. Very value for money while the property condition is new.

Hotel is old and dated. Front desk check in experience was not welcoming. Use of an international credit card for hotel charges — standard in Thailand - draws a special service fee. Odd to see this charge at a so called top international hotel. Buffet breakfast so so from a Thailand top hotel standard It’s clean and safe so not a bade place to stay … Still it’s very Hard to believe this is considered amongst the top hotels in Trang … perhaps maybe 20 years ago.

The check in was very easy and quick. Unfortunately while the room was accessible for a wheelchair its bathroom wast very easy for to get into and only had a tub but not a shower as I requested and there were no grab bars by the toilet. Otherwise the room was spacious and the double bed was comfortable.

The reason for my stay was to be able to visit my husband who was in hospital in Trang. The stay became much longer than the three initial night and altogether I was there for 13 nights. The room was very spacious and had a very comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom. The cleaning was immaculate and they provided a lot of drinking water so you could make tea or coffe in the room as well. The front office staff was very helpful and gave a lot of good tips of restaurants, hairsalons, beauty spas etc. The breakfast has a good selection of western , asian ans halal food. The make super yummy deepfried bananas och they were so kind and even made small boxes with these delicacies that I could bring to my husband in the hospital. So considerate ans thougthtful of them. Really appreciated that little extra touch! The pool is large and there is a poolbar. There is also a gym and a spa. The spa has excellent massage. For the moment they do not offer facial treatments but hopefully they will soon have somebody working with that. The manager of the hotel is a super guy who is very visible among the guests and he speaks excellent English. The restaurnt serves really good thai food and they have live music every night. It is very night to sit outside and eat and have the music in the background. I can really recommend this hotel and I hope I will have an opportunity to talke my whole family here again. Thank you all for making my stay som wonderful!

I stayed at the Rua Rusada Hotel for 13 nights in April-May 2025. .My husband was in hospital in Trang so I had not planned the visit to Trang at all. The staff in the hotell was just amazing. The front office was extremely helpful, caring and gave me a lot of practical tips of what to see and do in Trang when I had some time. They helped with bookings, reservations and always had a warm and welcoming smile. The manager was very attentive and always asked if I was happy with my stay at the hotel. The room was very spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The cleaning is immaculate and they provide a lot of drinking water everyday. I used the lsundry service which was excellent and very effective. The brakfest is good and container a mix of asian, halal and western food. Their deep fried small bananas are superdelicious and when the staff found out that my husband was in hospital the gave him small boxes of bananas. So considerate and lovely! The restaurant serves very good thai food and has live music many times every week. You sit outside on a deck and it feels like a garden with beautiful lights. I used thepool area and the gym several times and there is a small swim in bar. The spa is open in the afternoon and in the evenings. and I went for massage several times which was really good.The only downside was that they didnt have any facial treatments for the moment which I hope they Will have in the future. I can really recommend anybody going to Trang to stay here.

Adequate accommodation leaning towards nice

Beds are too hard. Tea & Coffee available in room but no milk. Asking for milk is hard if asking in English. A "Superior Room" is nice but still quite small for what the name implies. Staff were friendly and attentive but only know a very small amount of English
