"Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits dans cet hôtel. Les chambres réservées n'étaient clairement pas conformes à nos attentes. Nous a ions payé environ 100 euros la nuit. Les chambres étaient situé tout en haut d'escaliers, dans la forêt. Très sombres, sans fenêtre et très petites. Je suis allée voir la réception qui m'a gentiment fait visiter 2 autres logements. "I’m giving this hotel 2 stars mainly because of the cleanliness and the overall condition of both the hotel and the room, which felt quite run-down and in need of maintenance. On the positive side, the staff were kind and helpful, and the location is definitely a strong point. However, considering the price we paid (over €100 per night, almost 500 MYR), I don’t feel it offers good value for money. For that reason, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless improvements are made."

"6 jours dans cet hôtel et extrêmement déçu. Alors dans un premier temps les lits sont sales à notre arrivés ainsi que les serviettes, la salle de bain des fourmis partout. "Hôtel très sympathique et agréable, cadre magnifique, personnel agréable et serviable. Chambres correctes, salle de bain minimaliste mais ok. Seul gros bémol : le restaurant, vraiment pas au top, ni en qualité ni en choix. Petit déjeuner buffet très décevant, sans intérêt. Restaurant testé une fois, ça a suffit (même le riz blanc était mauvais). Spa agréable pour un massage délassant. Bref, un bon hôtel mais un peu cher en rapport qualité/prix."

"We had a wonderful five-night stay at the resort. The staff truly go above and beyond to make your stay memorable, and we felt so well looked after throughout our visit. It was the perfect balance of relaxation and exploring the island. Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable, making it a lovely place to come back to after a day out. We would absolutely love to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the resort to our family and friends. Thank you for such a memorable stay!"

"We are a family of 4 with 2 children aged 8 and 11, and stayed for 6 nights August 2026. We found this to be a very friendly, clean and comfortable place to stay, with an excellent location right on the beach, with all the long beach amenities easily accessible. The breakfast buffet is good. We did 3 snorkelling trips with Mimpi which were well organised and good. Our room had a lovely view across long beach. The private transfer from Kota Bharu airport to Mimpi and back again was well worth the money, well organised and we were grateful for them managing our luggage. Overall definitely recommend Mimpi as a place to stay."

"We had a wonderful stay in a Family Seaside Room with our 2 teens. Spacious and comfortable, strong AC. Wifi worked, hot shower, comfortable beds, mini fridge. Basic amenities. They gave 4 water bottles and a new roll of toilet paper per day and beach towels were available at the front desk. We enjoyed the chairs on our porch and the amazing view of the other island. The way the island is set up, there are only beach paths which cut through all the hotels so you do get a lot of people walking in front of the room along the path - not the place for you if you want something more private (or pick a room farther in the back without a view). We loved people watching along the jetty and enjoyed the vibe. It was quiet for sleeping times. A quick and easy 5 minute walk to Coral View beach and another couple minutes to PIR beach. Just breathtaking beaches! Clear water, amazing snorkeling right off the beach. Restaurant on site had great food, took credit cards and we loved hanging out there for the evenings but the service was hit or miss. Get there early or wait for a table for a long time. They forgot part of our order on 3 occasions and we had to ask, after a 40 minute wait. Also more expensive than other places as they add 20% tax/gratuity. Overall, we kept our expectations low as the islands aren't very developed or luxurious but we were comfortable, felt safe and left feeling very happy. The Perhentians are incredible and this hotel made for a great home base during our stay."
