"Needs a refresh, old property/building. Indoor pool looked quite dingy, carpet in gym area looked like it was from the 70s, smoking room did not contain smoke very well. Was large ceiling leak in main hallway (heavy rains outdoors). Outdoor garden was beautiful, shuttle to airport was great. "

"I was given a smoking room, which was not requested. I was able to switch out so that was pretty easy. Shuttle to and from airport runs on time. The breakfast wasn’t great, offered egg squares that isn’t taste like eggs, too sweet. The glazed meatballs were good option but more of a lunch/dinner meal such as soups as well. Overall stay was alright for the price, you get what you pay"

"It was a good stay for one night after a long flight. Property was about 15 minutes from the train station but there’s a bus stop a minute or two walk from the hotel. The gentleman that helped me check in spoke excellent English and was very helpful. There’s a convenient store in the lobby. Airport shuttle was a plus. The only complaint I had was a big group of tourists were very noisy and quite pushy. Other than that, for the price and convenience, this hotel is perfect for a solo traveler. It’s clean and it let my needs."

"It was our first time in Japan and our flight landed at 9pm. We got on the free shuttle and it was very easy to locate. The hotel room was surprisingly huge and we had amenities including pyjamas. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The breakfast buffet was adequate with a lot of variety and the food was really tasty. Air conditioning was not great but there were fans and humidifiers available to rent for free on our floor, so we rented one. There was a currency exchange machine at the lobby and a Family Mart convenience store within the premises, where i did my luggage transfer swiftly and effortlessly. We spent two days at Gateway Hotel before moving to Tokyo and we took advantage of the free shuttle bus to the mall in Narita, where we got a feel of the area. We also got the free shuttle bus to the train station when we checked out. In all, it was a very pleasant stay and i would stay here again when next i visit."
