"For a hostel, K’s place gets 10/10. I would rate it higher if I could. While it’s not fancy, at this price point, within walking distance to the Asahadake Ropeway, it’s a great deal. K’s Place completely exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and informative, giving us a tour, explaining the Onsen, communal kitchen and all their amenities. It’s a very homey feeling. There is a giant comfortable lounge and eating area, 3-4 communal fridges, multiple cooking areas completely stocked...

"I only stayed for one night but I had a pleasant experience. The hostel was an easy 12 minute was from the station and there are also many restaurants in the area. I stayed in the mixed dorm and found it satisfactory. My bunk had a light, a small fan, and some outlets. The facilities were clean and had the basics. Tama the cat was also very cute! I would stay here again if I were in Asahikawa again."
