"Absolutely loved this resort! The vibe was chill and inviting. The room we received upon checking in was not quite what we were expecting. Called down to ask for a room with a view that would match the description of the premium one bedroom suite that was described when booking. Within a half hour we were moved and the room was exactly as booked and provided an amazing view of the ocean and overlooked much of the resort. The room was very nice and comfortable for the four of us with the pull out sofa in the living room and two full bathrooms. The food was excellent and amenities were well maintained. Above all else the staff were amazing. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We loved the options for shopping on the property and the gym was excellent. Overall very memorable experience and look forward to a return visit!"

"The remodel was fantastic in the Ocean Towers Very beautiful rooms. Well thought out. Very nice neutral colors that matched. Furniture was quality and practical. Sofa sleeper was uncomfortable. Beds and sofa was great "

"The 1 bedroom suite with a full kitchen was modern, clean, and in a quiet location. The 2 double beds in the bedroom were small so really only can fit 1 person each. The sofa bed in living room was large but on a slant so better to sleep on the couch or floor. They are a bit stingy with towels but there are multiple pools that can be accessed across multiple properties and they can sometimes lend you pool towels."

"This was the second time my wife and I have visited Hawaii. The last time was 20 years ago, before kids, when we went the Maui. This December we went to Waikoloa with our 14 and 16 year olds and it was a dream! The property is amazing, with a protected lagoon. They literally could swim with turtles, rays, and all kinds of fish. They also have a dolphin population right at the lagoon and you can watch them swim and play with their trainers all day long. It's pretty amazing. We stayed in a Makai garden room, which was clean and had wonderful views and easy access to the pool just outside. The onsite food options were a bit limited and were expensive, as we expected, but honestly not that bad compared to the mainland these days. You can also walk a bit less than a mile to some other options, which we did on a couple of occasions. If I can afford it, I will definitely come back to this place. And, I highly recommend it for families with older or younger kids."

"So beautiful! Ocean view was amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful. My husband is vegan and he had plenty of delicious options at the breakfast buffet. Decor was lovely and felt very classic Hawaiian. We absolutely loved staying here and would come back in a heartbeat! "
