This is a great place for a family stay, quiet location yet still walkable to kamala beach and places to eat, it also has 3 different pools, from a size for toddlers to a very large one

Likes: close to the beach and reasonably priced. The entire Resort was clean. The apartment was large. Pools were nice. Dislikes: restaurant for breakfast was on not on property. The breakfast was the same thing every day and was not always hot.

Kamala Beach
Very nice traditional villa with 3 bedrooms and an outstanding view over the Kamala Beach. We really enjoy the terrace, the space inside the villa, the view, the traditional decoration. Some area to improve: give more than one key (not easy to organize 5/6 people, and you take it off, the fridge does not have any more electricity), they check the mini bar every day instead of the end of the staying as the other hotels, the bedroom doors can get locked and no key to open it from outside ... But very pleasant overall staying, close to the beach, very nice view!

Overpriced and in need of maintenance...
Beautiful pool and grounds with limited water views except from the pricier waterfront properties. Garden unit was pricey for the condition. Over three nights the management could not get the air conditioning to work properly... thermostat was broken and unit made noises... and when it rained, rain came through the unit, down the wall, and required towels to sop up the water on the floor. Staff was sympathetic but unable to correct issues. Management was invisible. Property needs improvement.

The private beach and views were fantastic. It was off peak season so we practically had the whole place to ourselves, A quiet and beautiful property for those who want a peaceful getaway.

Great location
Great apartment with ocean views from living and bedroom. Good pool in mature garden setting. Only problem was the aircon wasn't quite strong enough. Quiet and relaxing as relatively few guests during low season. Only a short walk to main beach and restaurants

We had a fantastic stay at this resort. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool area was beautiful and gardens well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had to checkin outside of office hours but they were organised with security and the process was smooth. Would stay again!

Boutique hotel
Amazing!! Lovely boutique hotel. We loved the serenity. Amazing view. Lovely pool and quick walk to the main beach, stores and food. Nearby beach is not crazy busy we always managed to find a good spot without paying for a chair. We had our two teens with us and it was a great space for all of us.

Lovely service but many mosquitos
The hotel staff speak great English and are fantastic. So thank you to them first of all. The area is a short 5 minute walk to some restaurants and shops. The pool, even though we didn't use it, looked big and clean. Others were using it. The only reason I wouldn't recommend this hotel to a friend is because of the Mosquitos. I would like to say, the hotel leave spray and other bits in your room to try and get rid of them... however please see the attached photo. I turned it into a game after the first few bites, I counted over 100 I killed inside 2 hours. As they were all in the bathroom it made it almost impossible to go to the toilet or shower. Like I say, it's not as if the staff don't try, they do, and I'm not sure if there's much more they can do. But it wasn't pleasant.

Outstanding...the only place to stay in Phuket.
We stayed at Kamala Beach 10 years ago and loved it then. Very few places do you return to years later that are good on return, Kamala Beach Estates and the Kamala Beach is an exception. We loved our stay in one of the 3 bedroom villas overlooking the bay. The chants of the monks every evening was magical and made every dinner oh so special. Thank you to the remarkable staff who were over the top accommodating and helpful. I will come back and recommend to anyone visiting Phuket...the only place to stay no need to venture anywhere else.

A beautiful beachfront haven
It was an unexpected delight to discover this small group of spacious apartments in a prime waterfront location, just a few minutes walk from the main beach in Kamala. The complex is surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens, has two swimming pools and even a small private beach which is perfect for swimming at high tide or exploring the rock pools at low tide. Although the complex does not have full resort facilities (reception closes at 5pm) the apartments have full kitchens, and there's a fantastic restaurant next door. As everywhere in Thailand, the staff are very friendly, polite and efficient. Pay the extra for an Andaman suite, which are just meters from the waves with unparalleled views across the ocean and balconies to soak up the glorious sunsets. All in all, a great experience and excellent value for money (you'd pay far more for a similar experience at some of the upmarket resorts, and have to share everything with hordes of other tourists). Highly recommended - we're already looking forward to coming back again.

Very nice and calm hotel surrounded by trees.
In general a good 3.5 stars hotel near to the main beach of Kamala. we were lucky having a sea view room. The rooms are actually a one bedroom apartment with sitting room, kitchen and sleeping room. The personnel are pleasant - as expected when you are in Thailand. The downside is that their breakfast - served at the Deck restaurant - is quite limited in option. Also, another thing is that you have to wait till the morning in case you have any problem in the room as they do not have reception after 8.00 pm. Indeed this is expected from a 3 stars hotel but frankly disappointed when we paid an average of USD 180 per night (during the week of the Chineese New year period). I really recommend this hotel and I may go again but definitely not at 180$ the night!

Good visit but uncomfortable sleep!
We were initially put into unit #U5. It is older and definitely needs a remodel. The cleanliness was also unacceptable. We were moved on our 2nd day to #U6 right next door and it is a beautiful unit except the beds in both units are Rock hard. I don't mind firmness but these were like sleeping on the tile floor. We loved the grounds, main pool and restaurant staff were very kind. It was a much needed unwinding.

KBE is charming and we staid some ten times in the past fifteen years, always on sea side. The hotel has charm and feeling, but many of the accommodations are dated, very noisy AirCon, windows/doors that let mozzies/draft in, old kitchen appliances, etc. Very expensive compared to so many new villas. All units are owned by different owners and rented by management company. Owners have engaged in cost cutting such as basicaly no pool/beach towels and the like. Might be fine if you own and have your own stuff but not in comparison to other hotels.

Nice self-catering resort. Very quiet and no service aside from room cleaning. Unfortunately the air conditioning was broken in our bedroom so the nights were not so comfortable. Hotel front desk sent technician but the a/c was not fixed during our 4 night stay. We were not offers any compensation or Change of room. A pity! Restaurant expensive and food mediocre quality for dinner, but fine for breakfast and very nice atmosphere. Overall, our accommodation did not meet our expectations.

Great apartment complex on the beach
Wonderful apartment right on the beach. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast in restaurant next door was amazing with 10 choices and big servings. Grounds and pool were gorgeous and well maintained. Just a 5-minutes walk to the village with lots of great restaurants, grocery stores and great, inexpensive Thai massage spas. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Phuket.

We picked this hotel for its location (near the beach) and because we could get a two bedroom suite which is ideal for our family of four. The accommodation was really nice; it had a good sized kitchen with range, refrigerator, microwave, sink and all pots, pans, knives, plates and utensils needed. There was also a dining table, four chairs and a living rooom with sofa and chairs. Plus the two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. Housekeeping came every day and did a thorough job cleaning up as well as leaving fresh bath towels AND beach towels for each of us (two sets). They also left plenty of fresh drinking water (several gallons) in carafes in the refrigerator and in a larger vessel on the kitchen counter top. We chose a garden view room but I would probably spring for the ocean view room next time as they are right above the beach with a great view. But it's not the kind of beach you are going to want to jump up and go for a morning jog on or take and early swim in the water; it is pretty rocky and shallow. We rented a car at Phuket airport and it was the best decision we made because local transport is pricy and having our own car gave us freedom to visit the whole island (including Big Buddha which should not be missed). Also, we could drive to the ferry dock to take a day tour to Koh Phi Phi. We just showed up around 8:00 and bargained for a good price on multi-island fast-boat tour with snorkeling and lunch included

This is a cross between a hotel and an apartment hotel. Large, well- furnished reception room and separate comfortable bedroom. Good bathroom and small kitchen area. Good location outside main part of Kamala village. Small shop for essentials nearby. Simple but pleasant breakfast included.

Overpriced and Underwhelming
the hotel was a group of private villas and our rooms had a beautiful view. The rooms were pretty expensive, and I expected a lot nicer furnishings and much more comfortable furniture. The dishes and glassware looked like hand me downs, the sitting area had a wooden armed couch and 2 chairs, with very little padding making sitting or lying down very uncomfortable. Everything was sort of shabby. I asked for a newly renovated room but for some reason I didn't get one. Coversely, my relatives who had a room downstairs had a newly renovated room with all furnishing deluxe. The grounds around the resort were beautiful, the pool was nice too, except, the pool furniture was in bad shape, the decking was cracked in places, and in fact, one slat broke and a patron fell through. The lounges were falling apart, and 2 actually broke when people sat on them. The umbrellas were shabby, most ripped. I would not recommend this hotel, unless they guaranteed me a renovated room. There were nom aminities on the property, no bar, no restaurant, and the staff barely spoke English.

Peaceful beach location
Our two bedroom apartment was a home away from home. It was private, comfortable and spacious. The view of the beach was spectacular, the sound of the waves lapping on the beach was magical. Phuket can be noisy and crowded, but our apartment was like an oasis. When we visited Patong, we were all keen to return to Kamala and the peace and quiet of our apartment. The free wi-fi made it easy to research activities when we decided to go on day trips, and to keep up to date with news from home, it also helped the teenagers to keep in touch with friends. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The gardens are beautiful and well kept, it was a magical place with butterflies dancing among the plants.

Good choice!
Chose this hotel as ideal location, just a few minutes walk from centre of town, and only hotel with 2 separate bedrooms ( we were 3 friends travelling together). Great value, and friendly and helpful receptionist. Only downside is, if you are intending to spend a lot of time around the very lovely pool, there is currently very noisy construction works taking place in one of the villas immediately next to pool. Even so, have since recommended it to other friends.

2月に 妻と2人で8泊ほど しました。 リピーター決まりになりました。 1ベッドルームの シービュースイートタイプを 利用しましたが 部屋もラナイも広く 歩いて行ける 距離にスーパーが あるので フルキッチンを 活用して食事も お気楽に出来ます。 朝食付きにしましたが 付けないで 食材買ってきて テラスで住んでる感覚で 楽しまれるの おススメします。 プールは ２つありますが ほぼ貸切状態を楽しめます。 ビーチは目の前で 岩場が多いので 泳ぐならカマラビーチまで歩いていき 帰りはバイクタクシーで 200パーツくらいで 帰れます。 2ベッドルーム 3ベッドルームまで あるようなので グループで来てもいいかと‼️ 日本人は 見かけませんでしたが 時期をずらしたら かなりコスパいいと思います。

Второй раз в этом отеле - 1 bedroom Andaman suite комфортный номер с гостиной и мини-кухней, террасой с видом на море, шикарная зеленая территория, бассейн с морской водой, приветливый профессиональный персонал и отличный ресепшн, чистота, тишина создают неповторимую атмосферу домашнего уюта и релакса! Небольшой минус - завтраки не отличаются разнообразием, нет овощей и йогурта. Обязательно вернемся сюда!

이 가격에 이런 비치프론트 뷰를 가진 널찍한 숙소를 구하긴 쉽지 않을 겁니다. 셔틀도 없고, 조식도 없기 때문에 진짜 까말라 해변에서 휴양을 목적으로 하는 분들이 가셔야 합니다. 까말라 자체가 한적한 해변이라서 조용히 휴양 가는 분들한테는 강추입니다. 숙소 상태 준수하고 직원들 친절합니다. 메인풀은 해수풀이고 넓진 않지만 알차게 놀 수 있습니다. 해변까지 성인 걸음으로 10분 좀 넘게 걸리며, 읍내같은 느낌의 음식점들이 많이 있습니다. 세븐일레븐은 5분 거리에 있으며 빅씨마켓도 멀지 않습니다. 재방의사가 있는 숙소입니다. 차량 렌트시에는 더 큰 메리트가 있을 겁니다.
