the hotel was a group of private villas and our rooms had a beautiful view. The rooms were pretty expensive, and I expected a lot nicer furnishings and much more comfortable furniture. The dishes and glassware looked like hand me downs, the sitting area had a wooden armed couch and 2 chairs, with very little padding making sitting or lying down very uncomfortable. Everything was sort of shabby.
I asked for a newly renovated room but for some reason I didn't get one. Coversely, my relatives who had a room downstairs had a newly renovated room with all furnishing deluxe.
The grounds around the resort were beautiful, the pool was nice too, except, the pool furniture was in bad shape, the decking was cracked in places, and in fact, one slat broke and a patron fell through.
The lounges were falling apart, and 2 actually broke when people sat on them.
The umbrellas were shabby, most ripped.
I would not recommend this hotel, unless they guaranteed me a renovated room.
There were nom aminities on the property, no bar, no restaurant, and the staff barely spoke English.
