Much affordable option compared to staying in Hallstatt. It’s only 11 mins by train (plus the 10mins walk to train station) Excellent facilities in the apartment - got everything you need. Laundry, kitchen, gym, parking, etc."

"Seriously the best location in Hallstatt. One of our windows faced the lake. The other window faced the famous church. What a view! We can see sunrise and market crowd and ferry traffic below us everyday. We can walk to any location conveniently because we are right in the center of town. The room is spacious and quiet. The bed was soft and comfortable. They provided L’Occitane products which were amazing. Quality tea bags with loose tea leaves. Breakfast was quality. Oh we even tried out the sauna which was private and cool! Friendly staff. All in all the best hotel for our honeymoon! "

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. A chalet with a lot of character. Clean and comfortable. Lovely kitchen. Obertraun is a lovely Alpine village away from the bustle of Hallstatt. Ideal for those looking to stay in a quiet place and engage in outdoor activities like hiking, cycling etc. in the surrounding areas. Very responsive and competent management."

"A great place to stay with stunning views. There's a bus stop at the entrance so it's easy to get to Dachstein Krippenstein and Hallstatt. There's also a wharf close by with two transport options. The mini-market in the resort is well stocked with plenty of options for self-catering. The staff were very friendly and helpful and restaurant food was excellent."
