"This unit was listed as "mountain view," but it just faced a very noisy, busy road. The bedroom was a dark, windowless, stuffy room. A very noisy floor fan was provided, and the living area had a noisy wall air conditioner. The unit was clean but pretty dated. The main building (picutred in the listing) and beach area were nice, but I would not recommend staying in a unit across the street that faces the street. "

"Great location for walking to shops and restaurants. Property dated but clean and well kept. Parking first come first serve to get parking permit. Sta very courteous and efficient. "

"On the Ocean! Best location in Kona. Great Staff, never ran into one who wasn’t helpful in a genuine way. I will be using this resort for my future trips to Kona. Ahhhh. . . But these reviews will cause me to plan farther in advance if people catch! I certainly hope they do! Mahalo "

"The rooms were clean and the views were amazing. We loved the access to the beach steps from our room. The morning staff, especially Matt, were amazing when we realized they gave us the wrong room the night before, he went above and beyond! I wish I could have seen him again. The front desk staff in the afternoons and evenings were very rude, acted like they don’t want any mainlanders there. With rooms had some issues, our last room the shower water was scalding hot unless you left it on for 10 mins before you got in. If you want a beautiful view, amazing staff at the restaurant, and easy access to an incredible luau and little beach, this is the place for you. We personally will find something else next time. "

"The pools were very big and nice, but that is because there are no useable beaches any where close to here. The poolside restaurant is nice and affordable, however, it gets really busy, because it is the only reasonably priced option available. The Pico restaurant is the only other option, and it is severely over priced for what you get, and thus why it was never very busy. There are no other dining options within walking distance (within 1 mile). You need a car or other transportation to get anywhere. Since we were there only 3 days, no regular room cleaning, even though we could have requested it if needed. The room was recently renovated nicely, but walls and windows are paper thin, and had loud neighbors the first night (teenage kids)"
