"5 of us stayed here for 5 nights and we absolutely enjoyed our time here! First of all, we would like to give a big thanks to all of the service staff. They have been nothing but great! Most of them speak simple english and even when they did not understand, they had a translator phone to communicate with us. There was this one time we had to contact our car rental company to request for extension. Instead of lending us the phone, the service staff actually went the extra mile and helped us in translating our query to the car rental company! We were so thankful for him and I regret not asking for his name. As for the villa itself, it was great! Nicely decorated and clean. We went during Spring so the temperature did drop to about 2-5 degrees in the morning/night. But the villa was comfortable as the A/C has both cooling and warmth function. Everything was well provided, from toiletries, towels, robes to cutleries, pans, microwave, bbq related stuff etc. There is no washing machine though, so we had to drive out to the laundromat (about 10mins away?). And the most important part, it has the perfect unblocked view of Mt Fuji! Location was ok, if you are not driving, it is about 10-15mins walk to the nearest 7-11 / restaurant. It is best to drive in Fuji in my opinion. We will definitely come back again and would highly recommend to those who are still deciding on this place.. JUST BOOK IT!"

"The hotel was so beautiful and the attention to detail was great. The staff was friendly and helped us with everything. They also spoke English. We were given yukatas to wear and they were really pretty. The food was amazing, everything was really fresh. The in room bath had amazing views to Mt. Fuji and was relaxing. They also have a shuttle that picks you up from Kawaguchiko station at 8, 8:30 9 and 10 am. We ended up taking a taxi from the station to the hotel but we took the shuttle back to the station and it was comfortable and fast. I don't recommend walking to the hotel from the station because there are no side walks in the town and the cars pass really close to pedestrians. Overall, a great and highly recommended experience and place to stay!"

"Overall an excellent experience! The food to die for. We had half-board and really enjoyed the breakfast and kaiseki dinner. The free onsen, free snacks, daily wine tasting... We had it all. And of course, the breathtaking views of the Mt. Fuji right from our balcony. "

"We had the fuji view room and it was absolutely stunning. We came in at night and didn’t see Mt Fuji coming in, but we woke up to a perfectly clear day with Fuji in sight. It was awe inspiring and majestic. They provided comfortable kimonos/pajamas to walk around in. There’s a nice viewing area on first floor with indoor and outdoor seating in view of Fuji - even with a set of binoculars to look at the mountain. Onsen in hotel was also had views of mountain. Staff was very helpful with luggage transport and they have shuttle for station but not many time options or capacity to utilize it so reserve spots early. Only cons were that the rooms have the door connecting other rooms so there is less privacy and you can hear people in the other room. We also ordered the massages and the ladies came up to the room for the massage but it wasn't a good massage. For the price of the room and value, it was amazing. It’s far from a lot of restaurants and the station but the 7/11 around the corner was more than enough for us."
