"CABN Hahndorf is a beautiful concept and offers a peaceful escape in the Adelaide Hills. The cabin is thoughtfully designed, private, and perfect for a short digital-detox style getaway. The kitchen was well equipped, the shower was fantastic, and the bed and pillows were comfortable and good quality—although the cabin bed could have been a little warmer, especially on cooler nights. One minor issue was the window fly wire screen kept falling on us so we had to temporarily jam it with paper...

"This was a completely random find by us. These villas are part of a cooking school, but we were just there for the room. This was the most beautiful villa we've ever stayed at. It was beautiful, stunning architecture, beautifully furnished, it had an amazing complete designer kitchen which we didn't use, but which would be handy for longer stays, and it was not all that expensive. "Staff were lovely and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and very grateful for the extra help on check out day to prepare for a family wedding - thank you. Pool and grounds are beautiful. Breakfast and breakfast room were excellent - beautiful views over the valley. Didn't enjoy dinner in Martha's restaurant so much though. Short, fixed price menu of two or three courses - fine dining prices. Only one vegetarian option for each course - burrata and leaves for entree and a vegetarian pasta for...

" Overall, the property was excellent but was let down by the lack of TV reception. Given that our visit was for the Gather Round Football, our plan was to watch many of the games on TV. However, that was not possible because of there being no satellite connection because of the cloud cover. It was a major disappointment and as a result we had very little leisure time at the property. The property is advertised as family accommodation, so the TV coverage issues need to be rectified."

"First night I was given a room with no power then moved to another room with power. Fire alarm went off during the night on both nights. No idea why. No offer to discount night with no power. "

"Room was ok for a single night. Apartments did not seem well built. Had poor ventilation and smelt of curry. Bad sound insulation. Beds ok, not great. Pillows need improvement. Parking in street was fine. We could hear people banging around at 5:30. Linen was good quality and clean. Room was clean. We haven’t stayed in Adelaide before so nothing to compare with but it seemed expensive for what we got. "
