"Rooms were clean and spacious, Breakfast was just ok, Parking was a bit of a issue later in the evening because hotel is beside a restraunt & bar and has a cut through so people use the Hotel parking lot to go the the bar. Location is very convenient."

"We stayed for one night as we toured UNCW. It was very disappointing that there was a fee to park. We found that pretty outrageous, especially for Wilmington. We didn’t find the lady who checked us in to be very warm. The air was set to 68 and it was still extremely hot while we slept. There was a greasy handprint on the refrigerator door. Overall was just not impressed. We will not be staying there again. Also, I never leave negative reviews, so I hate to be leaving this one, but was pretty disappointed and felt the need to share. "

"The parking was great because hardly anyone was there. The electric room blind did not work. I had asked for handicap accessible room. The only room available had a tub and due to my disability I could not use the tub though I was there 4 days. I had to wash from the sink. On my second day I realized that my room was not cleaned. I complained and was advised that the cleaning staff cleans every other day. Out of coffee and trash needed to be emptied. I spoke to the cleaning staff and found that they get one day off per week. Had to insist and complain before they would give me a receipt for my stay. I had called corporate who advised that the hotel was a franchise and operated outside of corporations. My stay was the worst of all hotel stays. I would not recommend it. The only thing comforting was that desk manager (Jacqueline) was very cordial."
