" IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THIS: It did not meet my expectations. What they have isn't a hotel; they are hostel-style rooms. It is outrageously expensive for what they offer; they take advantage of foreigners, and I find it absolutely appalling!!!! The mattresses are so old !!! They are saggy and horrible—we couldn't get any rest during our entire stay!! When it was time for us to leave in the morning (7 AM), there was no reception—it is unbelievable that there was no one there to assist us!!! We also forgot some items we had purchased (clothing), and no one contacted us to let us know that we had left clothes behind. My review is THE WORST—you can count on that. It is a mockery of a "hotel," as it is IMPORTANTE: POR FAVOR LEAN: No cubrieron mis espectativas. Lo que tienen no es un hotel, son cuartos como hostal, esta carisimo por lo que ofrecen, se aprovechan de los extranjeros y me parece tristisimo!!!! Los colchones estan para tirarlos a la Basura!!! Aguados horribles, en toda nuestra estancia no pudimos descansar!! A la hora de irnos por la mañana7am No hay recepción increible que no hay gente que atienda!!! Tambien olvidamos cosas que compramos(ropa) y nadie nos escribio para comunicarnos que dejamos ropa. Mi review es EL PEOR tenganlo por seguro. Es una burla de “hotel” ya que es simplemente un cuarto/hostal con baño que rentan. No hay servicio de comida ni de nada, increible!!!! Ojala y dejen de engañar a los huespedes. Por favor NO RESERVEN ESTE HOTEL"

"I stayed here for 2 nights in April 2026. I do not recommend for the following reasons: 1. The hotel is dated/old and does not look kept up 2. No mini fridge in the rooms 3. The gym is small, and no are sprays provided to wipe down machines after use 4. The pool water is very cold 5. Parking is an extra $150 pesos per day 6. Breakfast is extra $300 - you can get a great breakfast around the corner for half the price 7. The staff member for our arrival was not friendly, snobby, and not helpful 8. You can find other nicer and well-maintained accommodations for a better price "

"We loved our stay at Villa Limon! The staff was excellent, our room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast and dinner at Zumo, the rooftop restaurant, were wonderful. The location was convenient to the downtown area and the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel. The only negative that we can think of is that our shower door didn’t seal so a lot of water went onto the floor soaking the bath mat and extra towels we put down to catch the water. We wouldn’t hesitate to return if we ever travel back to San Miguel again."

"This hotel was such a great find in San Miguel de Allende. The location couldn’t have been better—I was able to walk everywhere, which made the whole trip feel easy and relaxed. The front desk concierge team truly stood out. They were incredibly friendly and gave some of the best recommendations I received during my stay. They also took care of my airport transfers, which made everything seamless from start to finish. My room was large, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. I loved the little nightly touch of sweet treats—it was such a thoughtful detail. The rooftop bar and restaurant was a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. I would absolutely stay here again."
