"What a stunning place! Sandrine greeted us when we arrived and showed us around. The ensuite room was small but perfectly appointed for our stay. There was a lovely lounge with comfy sofas amd a TV. "Thomar Story is a great hotel to stay when visiting Tomar and the surrounding area. The hotel is newly renovated. The room is as pictured: modern and clean with all the amenities needed. The hotel is located close to the center of town, easily accessible by walking. It is close to some good restaurants and cafe. All in all, we would recommend this hotel if you are planning a visit to Tomar."

"Claudia checked us in and she was just all sunshine and light. Charming, helpful and just a pleasure to talk to. The room was great with a great view of the Convent of Christ and Castle of Tomar on the hill. Met one of the owners briefly and he was very helpful in getting us a cab. The restaurant which is attached to the hotel, but not included with the hotel was very very good."

"I rented three single rooms for my mother, my sister and I. The rooms are small. They’re just what you need. Everything is clean. They were comfortable little views of older buildings. I went with the option to include breakfast. It was a nice breakfast at a very reasonable price. Grateful to make the start of our day so easy. There is a pool we did not go because it started to rain. It looked very nice. Up the street and around the corner is the castle. It’s in a great location. It’s easy walking distance to your favorite sites. It is also a destination for motorcycle riders. They have a garage. There are some neighborhood cats that are really cute I recommend"

"We really loved this hotel. We had a great check-in with extremely helpful staff. Our room was bright, clean, wonderful big windows that allowed you to enjoy the beautiful exterior grounds while sitting in your room. Breakfast and dinner were extremely well done and very delicious. The hotel also had a small pool that was indoor / outdoor, and a sauna that we used. Very functional and great to have slippers in bathrobes so we can walk through the hotel covered. The grounds were very beautiful and could absolutely see a wedding take place there. The hotel was also very convenient as it was walking distance to the convent of Christ. Parking was easy and located right outside the hotel. Would definitely come back!"
