"This hotel is located in a crappy neighborhood. There were homeless and very sketchy men hanging on and around the property panhandling. When my daughters got to their room there was a cockroach on the floor. There were stains on the towels and pillow cases. There are signs of wear if you look closely, scratches on doors, hallway display cases with broken glass. I will never ever stay in this hotel again!! AND they charged us for parking."

"There is more than one town of Laurel, and when we mistakenly booked at this location, we immediately called to cancel and they refused. They decided to forego customer service in favor of capturing a few dollars for services they would never render. A good little anecdote for how American culture seems increasingly trending towards the selfish and vain. Good job, Best Western. Another family of hotels we will strive to avoid. Way to ruin it for the rest of them…"

"The staff was excellent. Everything was really clean. The location couldn’t have been better. The only things that were even a little off was the parking situation and also they must have purchased it recently because the old name was still on a couple places like the glass doors, so after a long trip and being tired it was a little confusing. I would definitely stay there again."

-Shower liners need to be changed (brown shower liners instead of clear, clean liners)
-Mattresses have brown spots in them when you lift up the sheets

"I liked how the room was decorated and put together.
There was a lot to choose from on the breakfast buffet and the kitchen kept up nicely with with demand.
Without being ask, the cleaning staff removed our dirty towels and replaced them with fresh one.
I do believe there was anything to speak of that I didn’t like."

"The folks at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The first morning room service did not come. The second morning they did come.

"I’ve stayed in Red Roof Inns all over the country for more than 10 years. This one was called a “plus” which is usually quite nice. Not this one. My room was disgusting! When I arrived, I noticed the room had been sprayed to cover a smell. Not weed. I know what weed smells like. It was something else. The wall had dried blood specks. There were shoe imprints on the desk. The curtains were hanging off. The bathtub was old and filthy in need of scrubbing. The walls and doors were badly painted...

"This property is PERFECT for people going on a cruise. You can see the ship from the hotel. If needed, it’s a 5 minute walk to the port.
The hotel is like new and has a very friendly and helpful staff. We’ve stayed here a few times and will use it in the future.
It’s also a convenient walk to restaurants and a grocery store."

"The hotel is very clean, and comfortable however I find it crazy that you have to pay $15 to park overnight while I’m literally paying for a room. And the front desk receptionist can definitely have a better attitude. I would not stay here but if you’re open to paying for parking and breakfast then it’s a nice place to stay."
