"This is the 3rd time we have enjoyed staying at High Peaks in a waterfront room. The property is well maintained, clean and the staff friendly! The location is ideal-direct access to the lake & activities if you'd like - and only a short walking distance to restaurants/shops, etc. Unfortunately, we were positioned next to a very loud group of young adults who were up all night, but tried our best to tune them out with our noise machine. The shower also leaked all over the floor no matter how well we closed it - we ended up placing towels on the floor."

"We were happy with our stay . The pool was warm. The room was nice, and a nice size. The beds were too hard for my liking, but there were 4 pillows, so I laid on those. Much better! The continental breakfast had a decent amount of choices. The keurig coffee outside the room we ate in had good coffee. The guy working the desk was very accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay there again."

"The pool is near the front desk and across from the elevators, so if you're sensitive to chlorine, like I am, you should wear an N95 mask to come and go. The food was great, and the restaurant was far from the pool, so that was fine. The staff were very friendly. We had a great stay, aside from the chlorine issue."

"This property is very unique, a bit quirky, very reasonable to say the least and wonderful, for the right sort of traveler. If you don't mind shared and co-ed bath facilities except for a few rooms o, the first of three floors, no elevators, and communicating through text messaging this is just the right spot for you."
