"I booked 2 rooms, both of which were excellent, very clean and beautifully furnished, recently fitted bathrooms with excellent facilities. The staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming, they made us feel very comfortable in the beautiful location. We really enjoyed our pre dinner drinks by the open fire in the guests lounge and learning about the history as we explored the building. Delicious food, we met the chef who checked our exact needs. We could not find any faults at all with our stay...

"There were no disabled parking spots, only reserved ones for electric cars. I booked an executive room (112), and was surprised to note one of the windows looked onto the bin area and recycling, that has lights on most of the night and early morning noise. My bath had mould around the seals, and the bath plug had to be removed with a spoon, which dislodged more mould that floated in the bath. When I mentioned about changing my room before unpacking due to the view, there were no others...
