"I would say be aware that when you purchase through Expedia that you may not get the optimal room. Our room backed onto an elevator and was noisy all night. I would like to think the price that was similar would get you a similar room, but I am not sure that is the case. We had an issue with painting/maintenance on our patio. I was surprised to see that they didn't organize this maintenance better considering the size of this complex. We did complain and we were moved, so I am thankful to the staff person who helped us. However, this is really just poor planning....again, I wonder if this is related to the fact that we booked through Expedia? On the positive, the adult pool is a real bonus for those who are not with kids. And the kids pool seemed to be enjoyed by the kids/families. The "market" was good for coffee in the AM if you are not a big breakfast person. However, be aware they are only open in the AM on certain days."

"We randomly picked this hotel and are so glad we did! The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable. The bed was perfect, and I especially loved that the AC had a continuous fan option. The view was outstanding, with direct access to the beach and lake. We were just traveling through, but now we definitely want to come back and stay for a real vacation! Would be so much fun with a group with great food options within walking distance!"
