"Flowers and landscaping were very nice. Room was neat but had a smell of perfumy cleaning products. We did notice that the ceiling vent in the bathroom was very dirty/dusty and the TV remote was not cleaned, but other than that the room seemed to be in very good shape. "The location can't be beat. The hotel was just renovated 4 years ago but the exteriors look a bit run down. The front desk staff was nice. Maintenance guy said 30-35 rooms had leaky bathtub faucets and it's been like that for two months but corporate doesn't want to shell out the dough to fix it. "Very big facility they host large events like weddings and the event carried over in the early morning hours of yelling doors slamming etc making it impossible to get sleep before3 am . It could use some old but was clean."

"Colonial Inn is a good budget friendly option for those not wanting to pay $150+ a night for a hotel. If looking for a simple place to sleep and shower that is well maintained and clean, this is a good choice. A bonus is there is a Dunkin, Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Target, and many other stores very close to the Inn. Also it’s near the freeway and only a 10-15 minute drive to Providence. "Property is an excellent value option for quick access to Providence RI if you have a car. There are plenty of restaurant chains and/or local alternatives withing a 2-3 mile radius. There is also as shopping center within this radius with Walmart, Target and many of the other usual suspects. Breakfast is very good. Rooms are simple and quiet. My ony complaint are the pillows as being too high. Recommend they include two types of pillows."
