"This is my go to hotel for my business trips to Charlotte for years. But after finding out on this trip that there is a "Destination" fee per night, I will need to rethink my future stays . I am saddened by this surprise fee that was never there before in all the years I have stayed at the Westin. I was informed that this fee provides the guest with free attraction passes, a small credit for food at the hotel restaurant, enhanced WI-FI, elite green juice. I don't understand why/how this fee...

"Check in process was seamless and instructions were very clear for a virtual check in/out. Amenities were 10/10. We got lots of space for the amount we paid for it. Same price as a hotel room, but we got a whole 1 bedroom apartment fully equipped with a refrigerator, washer/dryer, pots and pans and a full kitchen. It was 95 degrees outside during our stay and the AC definitely gave the heat a run for its money. The location was super close to downtown/everywhere we traveled (within 5-10 minutes)...

"We only stay here when we come into town. This has been my favorite place for years. Always pleasant, clean and kind employees grom the front deskto rhe people keeping the lobby clean and the people keeping our rooms clean. Rod was always very helpful and so was Steven and Kenny and the valet crew. I will be back."

"I was extremely disappointed with my stay this weekend. The pool was closed due to construction, and the rooftop bar area shut down at 10 PM. With temperatures over 90 degrees and it being NBA Championship weekend, the amenities were the primary reason my wife and I chose this hotel. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations, and we left very dissatisfied."

"Everything about the property was fine, but in the room, not so much. When the sheets were pulled down on one of the beds, there was a spot of blood on the sheets. And old food had been left in the microwave. These problems were raised at the desk and to our delight, the room was comped!"

"Hidden fees and depending on which staff member you got you received different information! Parking, internet, food and “destination fee” were not relayed properly and felt deceptive. Room was nice however the ceiling looked as if recent water damage. The location is in heart of everything and I felt safe."
