Very modern clean rooms - surprising as it's in the old town. Restaurants are good. Their is a mosque very lose to the property which can get very noisy with calls to prayer. Also, the property should have spectacular views of the fort and does for certain rooms. Not sure why the architects didn't put a restaurant/bar on roof of tallest building. There is a bar on top of the restaurant but the views are blocked somewhat by other rooms on the property.

Had a deadly cold and it was rainy and chilly in Jodhpur. But at $600 USD.nt you would think that one's room is heated. NOT SO! I finally got a space heater that was broken but on complaining NOTHING was done! And the food was mediocre. And if you get a Heritage Suite as I, good luck with the lights. I had 22 different fixtures in my room with the switches hidden in odd places so that I had to call front desk to turn them off on going to bed. BUT THE WORST PART----- a mosque behind the hotel that blasted 10000-decibel prayers at dawn and after dark, and for two nights at 10 pm awakening me with 40-minute loudspeaker prayer!

A unique property with an unbelievable view of the fort. Excellent architecture details are beautiful. Attention to detail down to the excellent orange marmalade at breakfast make this a must stay location

We LOVED our stay at RAAS Jodhpur and couldn't speak highly enough of the wonderful hospitality, the beautiful hotel, great ecofriendly touches and fantastic food. Oh and then there's the view. Stunning! We WILL be back.

Right in the heart of the city and yet so quiet. The staff was the best we have ever seen - even going so far as having the chef prepare us a special Rajasthani meal that was not even on the menu

The hotel and the service was excellent. This hotel would be the only reason I would return to Jodhpur. The spa is excellent. I would not recommend the OSIAN desert safari because the sand dunes are covered with trash. it is not worth the 90 mins ride each way.

Modern day Mughal baug
Lovely room with a private courtyard with a view of mehrangarg fort. By day if feels like a small Mughal Baugh and by night it’s beautifully light up and have a spectacular view of the fort on roof bar. Staff is very helpful.

Excellent Property & food. But not good location
The property, staff , service and food is excellent. Everyday we had different cuisines of food in the property restaurant and it was fantastic. The service is very good and staff is also courteous. The swimming pool was very well maintained. The crowd was good with few foreigners as well. Only thing we did not like the location is right in the center of old town. Its located in the old town with a mosque next to it that starts prayer at 5am which disturbed our sleep and then few number of times in the day. Right adjacent to the property are the old buildings where people are staying who can easily look into your room (when the window is open). Between the Fort and the hotel there are many old buildings so one should not expect the photos displayed on the site. Rest if you are ok with the small issues mentioned then the property is value for money

Nice Relaxing Stay
The trip was very nice and relaxing. It is a quaint property with a beautiful view of the fort. Rooms are decent in size with a nice balcony with a view. The food is simply outstanding and the service is top notch. We had the F&B in charge Mr Ajitsinghji taking care of our meals and he was too good. The bar at the terrace is really good.

The hotel is in a perfect location to explore Mehrangarh fort and the other attractions in that area. The fort is a quick walk from the hotel itself. The hotel facilities are top notch, but the service level had some minor misses (such as not caring to keep the rear gate open for someone returning from the fort) which weren't a big deal, but stood out given the relatively high accomodation charges. Our room had an amazing view of the fort and a very nice sit out area. Ambiance of the restaurants and the rooftop bar (with a breathtaking view of the fort lit up at night) was good, but the food wasn't anything to write home about. So while the property was pretty good given the heritage premises, I'd be hard pressed to recommend anything beyond a very short stay given the cost.

RAAS jodhpur is a unique boutique hotel. The view of the fort is spectacular. The service was excellent. Would highly recommend RAAS jodhpur!!!

It was a comfortable and pleasant stay with the only drawback that the local taxi doesnot reach the hotel and drops you outside the clock tower and you have to stuggle your way to the hotel through the dirty lanes-carrying luggage is almost impossible for elderly and women. Hotel should consider providing free pickup & drop to the clock tower

A fabulous hotel, with excellent services, vue, friendly staff and of course the food. Only issue is the mosque that is so close by and wakes you up at 5am and 4 more times throughout the day.

The Blue Gem in the Blue City
What a perfect way to see Jodhpur! The service at this hotel is impeccable, from the wait staff and manager to the concierge welcoming desk. Our room was large and comfortable. We loved our room #102 with a private garden. The breakfast , included in the stay, was more than ample with a great buffet and ordering from a menu to be catered to one’s preference delicious as well. Continental as well as Indian choices. I can’t rave enough about this gem of a hotel! The fort view from the hotel is beautiful, the exterior accommodations from pool, cozy sitting areas, and the next door ancient Step Well just beautiful (and Step Well cafe great!) I recommend this hotel with no reservations! Be prepared to hear morning prayers at 6:15am each morning, to some this may be a momentary nuisance but I found it beautiful and a good way to start my day early, while my husband returned right back to sleep!

5* hotel missing the 5* experience
The location and views from the hotel were exceptional, and overall the service throughout was a very good level. Given the rates being charged I think a few small improvements could be made to improve the overall 5* experience such as having tables set for breakfast before you arrive, staff being friendlier with recommendations to spend the days, advice where to eat outside of the hotel, etc. We also had a duplex suite and while very spacious, it felt a little cheaply furnished and could have been enhanced with some more local feel. However, waking up to the view of the fort each morning and sitting on the balcony for sunset certainly made up for many of the minor flaws.

Amazing hotel in Jodhpur
This is amazing hotel near Maghant fort in Jodhpur. View from the hotel is stunning how architecture of the hotel blends in seamless with the fort behind. I love the central tipping system. Room is immaculately clean. I love the nearby facilities and communities they are developing as well. Stepwell is the must visit and located right behind the hotel. Only unfortunate thing is that we got sick from the hotel dinner.
