"Booked here twice for a family member. Great customer service that remembers their customers. It’s a 10 minute drive to the station and the city view is great. "

"A hot spring-style bath (onsen) is terrific. It helped me relax after the long international trip from the U.S. (Boston). The breakfast is just gorgeous. Both Western and Japanese-style food are delightful, especially for Westerners. Since most clients are male Japanese businessmen, you get to see the non-touristy, "real" side of Japan. "

"This hotel is above JR Takasaki station. Convenient location and a lot of places to eat and shop. The room is clean and very quiet. I had a comfortable bed. "
"The outside of the buildings looked a little old, but inside, it was very clean and very comfortable with an impressive amount of helpful appliances for food and temperature/humidity comfort. The shower and bedroom were particularly nice.
I would have given this hotel a perfect 5 star rating, but unfortunately the bedroom window (Room #7) faced a separate residential house that had many very loud and annoying dogs that barked every day from 6am to 12pm without stopping. It was very hard to get sleep because of this. It's not the hotel's fault, but people staying in Room #7 should be aware of this.
Also, it is a 15 minute to the nearest bus stop."
