So first this is an American review. We stayed for a 3 day weekend in April. High 70’s - low 80’s. It was a great property and right on the beach. The biggest issues we dealt with were the chairs and umbrellas had not yet been put out on the beach, but other hotels did, so the beach wasn’t very enjoyable. It is considered their off season and they had an amazing pool area so not a huge loss. The biggest problem is no AC. Which is a normal thing, but not for Americans. 5 star hotel but you can’t have AC in your room, so the first night it was rough and we almost checked out and left. The second day it cooled down and was manageable. The pool area is great it has 5 pools. Two small ones were empty, but had no impact for us. The others are all together. One is inside and heated connected by a sliding glass door in the pool to another outside pool. The other pool is directly connected with a small wall and extends next to the restaurant. The only issue is the bar is down one floor from the pool and it’s hard to get a drink pool side. You either need to go down and order and have them deliver back to pool side or grab one of them as they are bringing someone else’s drinks out. I would just have a small bar near the pool and they would get so much more business. Another small issue was the bar near the end of our trip they started to rush drinks and did not add all the ingredients or only filled cups half way. Breakfast was amazing. Something’s are extra but the basics are great.

However, we would like to inform you that since 25 April the beach reserved for Almar has been fully equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds and, thanks to the presence of lifeguards, there is the possibility for all guests to bathe.We thank you for enjoying our indoor spa pool and the majestic 70-meter pool, partially covered and heated to three different temperatures. We would like to inform you that the two empty swimming pools do not belong to the Resort but are the property of the two buildings in front of the resort. We would also like to inform you that there is our summer pool bar “Lightblue Bar” at the edge of our swimming pool. However, it is actually operated during the high season months, i.e. from June to September, while during the remaining months it is serviced in the best way by our The River Lounge Bar staff. We are very sorry and apologize for the inconvenience with the drinks service, we will talk to the bar manager to better understand what may have happened and we will try to further improve our service.Lastly, we understand with regret that the temperature of the room was not to your liking, in this regard we would like to point out that during the period of your stay the temperatures were much higher than normal for this season, and in fact the abnormal heat only lasted a few days. As for the air conditioning of the hotel is centralized, however it can be modified by the guest raising or lowering by one or two degrees, and if it was not enough you can ask for it to be adjusted further to the reception staff, which is always available.We apologize again if everything has not lived up to your expectations and we will talk with the whole team to try to improve more and more the services offered.Hoping to welcome you back to Almar to offer you a better experience we offer you our best wishes,Monica BonamassaResident Manager

Fantastic pool and jacuzzi, a pleasant nap on the healing loungers and a walk on the lungomare path, golden sand beach. Room bed and bath delightful, food service slow, but we digested well. Will return, very relaxing

Expertly maintained facility and grounds. My dinner meals were Michelin star quality. The entire staff were lightning speed responsive, kind, and courteous with a high degree of attention to detail. Location is not in the “thick” of the action but I rather enjoyed the quieter atmosphere.

Everything was amazing and there’s not a thing I could complain about. The staff were friendly and helpful and the pool and beach were clean and enjoyable. Food was also delicious, especially the breakfast.

THIS HOTEL SHOULD HAVE A PUBLIC HEALTH WARNING. The Management should be fired, the health department contacted, and hotel shut down with an entire retraining of the staff. Specifically, the GM "Monica" should probably leave the service business all together, based on her complete inept ability to manage a situation, combined with her attitude, combativeness, argumentative manner, and blatant contempt for customers safety and well-being. The hotel owners should be ashamed, and the healinghotelsoftheworld.com should be ashamed of themselves. I am sure there will be some reply b the hotel that is "you were wrong" or "we did not" or "we did our best." Don't believe it, dont try to even explain your way out of this. A pool that has human feces in it, YUP, that's right, somehow a nice brown turd was left in the pool, and the pool staff decided to just smear it all over the bottom of the pool, while guests were swimming next to it. Maybe no one will notice? Didn't close the pool either; just swim away people, we will hide this from you, and hope you are too stupid to notice, besides, you must be so stupid to pay $650/night for here, that we will laugh at you while you swim in human crap.

Dear Guest, with great regret we read the review you wrote on Expedia.com. Please, allow us to reply to your arguments. Firstly, we do not intend to reply to the negative and unjustified judgment towards the entire Almar Staff, specially, towards Mrs. Monica, since what unpleasantly happened in the pool during your stay, certainly did not depend on the will of any of the members of our Staff. Secondly, with reference to the unfortunate fact that happened in the pool, we would like to point out that from a health and safety perspective, all the due legal procedures have been activated. The chlorine levels in our pool are not only compliant with the Italian law, but also high enough to prevent hygiene risks: in this case, as the Staff became aware of the unpleasant situation, the chlorine rate has been immediately raised by 30%, an increase considered more than enough to face up this kind of issues. Moreover, all the Guests were prevented from getting back in the pool for at least 15 minutes, the time required to allow the chlorine to activate its bactericidal and disinfectant action and drastically reduce any possible health risk. Since we have not received any other complaints from the numerous Guests, who unfortunately witnessed the incident as you did - neither in person talking with our Staff, nor through other reviews on the different online portals - we therefore wonder if the grudge that transpires from your words could be due to Almar’s failure to fulfil some demanding claims made during your short stay. We refer to the clash that both you and your partner had with some members of our Staff when it had been pointed out that your dog was not allowed to stay by the pool, as well as at the Spa and at the restaurant area too, for hygienic reasons. Even these restrictions are clearly reported on Expedia.com. We are very sorry if you did not notice that at the time of your booking. However, in case of incomprehensibility or incompleteness of the information described on the portal, our Booking Office would have been at your complete disposal to clarify your doubts about it. Indeed, if you had also signaled the presence of your dog at the time of your booking, we would have immediately sent you our "Almar dog bon-ton" where it is clearly illustrated the accessibility regulation concerning 4-legged friends at our Resort. It could have helped you to figure out in advance if the afore mentioned rules would have suited or not, and more to decide if our five-stars Resort would have been the right choice for your holidays. However, as a Pet friendly Resort we want to highlight that despite some restrictions required for hygiene reasons, fully compliant with Italian laws, our 4-legged friends are always welcome. We are meant to give a 5-stars treatment to dogs too, as we offer them many ad-hoc-services, such as a Welcome Dog Kit including a little bed and bowls for water and food. Spotless, calm, elegant - fantastic pool and private beach. My deluxe sea view room was huge with a balcony, and had a pool and sea view, which was wonderful. Reception, housekeeping, bar and spa staff (spa is amazing) were charming and helpful at all times. However as a solo traveller, the restaurant lost business from me as I was made to feel uncomfortable about being: “alone”, “just you?”, “only you?”, frowned at as I was seated for breakfast more than once. If I have the money and guts to travel solo I expect to be treated positively and usually am anywhere I go. I was surprised with a hotel of this class - so I didn’t eat in the restaurant at all. If they can fix that - it’s perfection!

The only luxury hotel around
This is I think the only 5* hotel around this area in Lido di Jesolo. This gives them a benefit of having less competitors in this price segment. Hotel is pretty good, with the routines worked out well. Parking garage is easily accessible and you can drive in/out as much as you want. Nice pool area, however I would appreciate more spaces in shadow, considering some people put towels on the sunbeds and come only in few hours. Breakfast is pretty good, but not enough choice for a baby. Rooms are nice with great balconies.

This was the BEST HOTEL I've stayed at!!! If I could give them a 10 Star rating, I would! I felt like I was in heaven and did not want to leave! Extremely friendly staff, beautiful pools, a wonderful wellness spa, gorgeous views! Everything you could ask for and more. If you were think about booking this hotel, I definitely recommend it!

Beautiful hotel close to a beautiful beach. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone. Unfortunately Jesolo in October is almost like a ghost town as most hotels and other amenities are closed or closing for the winter season, November to March.

Wow! What a fabulous hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean and the interior design was on the money. The spa was by far the best one I have been to; I paid extra for a massage which was lovely. The staff can't do enough for you and will always greet you with a friendly hello and a smile. Breakfast was extensive and very tasty. I recommend their made-to-order nutella pancakes! We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and one evening we found a bottle of prosecco in ice in our room. Lovely touch. THANK YOU ALMAR, we would absolutely stay here again!

The hotel and facilities are excellent. Service when you check out is pretty slow and no queue system so we stood there 30 mins whilst other guests went in front and staff allowed this to happen. Not sure if this was because we were English. Breakfast excellent choice, gym facilities clean and just what you need for a short stay. Nice bar for drinks during the evening. Nice walk into town got more bars and restaurants. Good bike hire service but not supposed to go along the beach front. Nice and quiet near hotel but 15 minutes walk and it becomes livelier

Excellent location for beach, shops & restaurants
We recently stayed here after a weeks cruise. One of the the reception staff actually approached us to welcome us as we entered the hotel rather than staying stood behind their desk which was a nice touch. The location is excellent for the beach, shops & restaurants / nightlife and the hotel offers free use of bikes which were great for exploring the surrounding area. Although we didn't use the Spa facilities we did have a walk through and they looked as good as any others that we've seen or used. There were ample sunbeds at both the pool and the private beach and towels readily available. The hotel is very modern and I would certainly stay here as my first choice if we were to stay in this area of Italy again.

This hotel is built to a superb standard, excellent quality fixtures and fitting. Very comfortable beds, excellent room cleaning and courteous staff. Nicely placed at the quieter end of the main strip in Lido. The hotel is very modern and contemporary in style, all staff are multi-lingual and very helpful. It is very soundproofed in the room, very quiet. Each room has air conditioning that works well. Courtesy water in the room every day, mini bar and fridge in the room, digital TV in the room. Free to borrow bicycles to use in the area for 3 hours per day. Free car parking in a modern clean underground car park. Plentiful supply of pool and beach towels, sun beds and umbrellas on the flat sandy safe beach, excellent for children. Courtesy robes and flip-flops in each room. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Great Hotel in Jesolo!
35 min from Marco Polo airport, and 30 from Punta Sabbioni (boat to Venice). Interrent hire car with full insurance (via auto europe) only £35 for 4 days. Hotel is an easy walk to the center and set 100m back from the large sandy beach and promenade. We had 3 nights from 30th March 2017 and there were 3 pools available, 1 glass covered and around 31deg, auto door to next outside pool which must have been about 27 deg. Last pool was cooler at normal outside temp. Great facility! Will be back later this year!

We stayed here, for a 3 night stay in November. The surrounding area was mainly closed due to being out of season. But this hotel surely made up for that. From having a free room upgrade, the cleanliness & comfort & excellent attentive staff to the quality of the food , this hotel is 5 star. As this hotel also has spa facilities there are many options to choose from. We also received a complimentary gift of an abundance of fresh fruit & a bottle of Prosecco, on ice. We couldn't have been made more welcome & highly recommend this hotel.

It rained heavily during my stay, mid June. Apart from the spa, the hotel doesn't have any area indoors where to relax with a book and a sea view. There is a lounge bar but it is underground and not that comfy. My room was clean and modern, although a little bit characterless. Internet worked well. I didn't have a good view, it was towards the bins at the back. I could see the sea if I walked onto the balcony.

No fighting for sunbeds at the Almar! Luxury.
Calm and relaxing hotel - Luxorious feel. Excellent spa (no children allowed) separate indoor pool and two outdoor pools. Daily towels, abundance of poolside beds, private area on the beach, enclosured areas for private reading and relaxing. Hotel leads directly to the beach. Go and experience for yourself.

This hotel will not disappoint location is really good with the beach and centre all close by. The staff were very good and nothing too much trouble hotel was very busy but service still excellent. I would recommend this hotel

Excellent hotel on beach front.
One of the loveliest hotels we have stayed in for a long time. From the moment you arrive, you're made to feel special by the staff. We were given a complementary upgrade to a sea view room, the view was spectacular. Every thing about the resort is 5 star, luxurious surroundings, warm and polite staff, fabulous buffet breakfast with Prosecco! a great lounge bar to relax in, amazing spa. Most of all the attentive staff who made our stay memorable. A stones throw from the beach front, a perfect place to relax and feel rejuvenated! Well done for getting it right.
