We had a terrible experience checking in as no one was at the property, even though we had provided a specific arrival time. Upon calling the phone numbers displayed on the front door, we were told that staff were unable to locate our reservation and that we would have to wait for the property manager to answer his phone. I became very distressed as it was New Years Eve weekend and every property in the area was fully booked. As all the car spots assigned to each motel room were full and our reservation could not be found, I assumed that the motel may have overbooked. We are very grateful that a staff member, who was not supposed to be working at the time, answered her mobile and resolved the miscommunication, though we did wait outside of the property for an hour and postpone our dinner reservations. The stay was otherwise fine and we didn’t have any complaints, it was just a disappointing welcome to the only 2.5 days we had off as a break during the holiday season.
