Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort
Very bad experience that ruined our vacation
Very bad experience. More like a motel in a lost island. Small boat to get in and out of island. Nice staff but dressed like young street people. Very few understood english. Rooms had bugs. Food suspicious (same person can be waiter, cook, room cleaner, baggage handler and boat operator). We booked for 5 nights at Sun Yi but we got there, we were in a less-quality hotel on island with no Internet (Rain Forest) because Sun Yi was closed due to storm damage 10 days before (we were not notified). We had to cancel after first night (no choice we got there after 9pm) and go somewhere else.
