"I thought everything in the room was perfect. I have been in many other "kitchenette-type" hotel rooms that were missing the kitchen items you need. Here it feels like the owner has thought through everything. My room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Having the woods nearby was great for walking the two small dogs I travelled with. Very satisfied!"

"The hotel, spa and restaurant were great. The only complaint was the standard of the room, which really could do with a revamp (especially for 300 euro a night). A better bed, unscratched floor and smart TV would be a good start. The room looked like it hadn’t had an upgrade for about fifteen years."

"Fun property but getting check in info required multiple calls, emails, and eventually Hotels.com intervention. Shouldn't be that much work by the guests to confirm check in and get a door code."

De locatie lag aan een spoor waar af en toe een oude trein langs kwam en langs een doorgaande weg waar redelijk wat geluidsoverlast van kwam. Op de camping geen kinderspeeltuinattributen. "The hotel itself only has 13 rooms, I think. The breakfast is pretty good, the staff are friendly and helpful. The front desk is only staffed a couple of hours during the day, so make sure you get the code to enter the hotel. I had just missed the summer 'peak', so there were only 2 restaurants open within easy walking distance. I only went to the Montecristo Restaurant. The food was good and the staff very friendly. My Visa card wouldn't work when I went to pay, so we worked it out in US dollars. Public transportation is limited and confusing, especially if you don't speak Swedish. But the Troll Hike was a LOT of fun. And I enjoyed the peace and quiet for a couple of days."
