"What a beautiful hotel location right in the beach village of Jekyll Island! Rooms were beautiful and very clean. There was a slight issue with our room temperature as the air condition did not work, but we were only there for one night and did not complain about it. However, we did mention during check out and they did over compensation for the inconvenience. Great staff! Would definitely return."

"Rooms were huge, daily free breakfast was excellent. Holidays inn blocks the ocean view but the ocean is across the street. Very close and easily accessible. Loved the stay, that is why I stayed another additional night. I would go back today if I could. Great holiday!"

"This hotel was mediocre at best. The tv was facing the left side of the room and could not be turned toward the bed so you could actually see it. When watching from the bed you could not read subtitles because of the angle of the tv in relation to the bed. You could sit on the sofa and watch. The air conditioner was dreadful. It never got below 70 and the room was stuffy. I finally asked for a box fan and they gave it to me. We paid a lot for the room and would have expected more of a luxury...

"The location can’t be beat - right on the ocean, right on the bike path, two restaurants on either side so you don’t have to drive anywhere if you don’t want to. We have stayed here several times, however on this trip we noticed how rundown the property is looking. Lots of stains, chips, and scuffs on the walls, lots of rust on steps and railings, shower looking old and dingy, dirty carpeting (the water in the floor of the shower would turn black when you stepped in if you had been barefoot in...

Old southern charm, but with emphasis on the old— our room was as clean as housekeeping could possibly make it, but the carpet had large stains, shower door can’t stay shut, paint on bathroom ceiling and parts of walls cracked and peeling. Tile missing on bathroom floor. Brilliant location right in historic district because hotel is pretty much the historic anchor (former exclusive millionaires club built at end of 19th century). "This is a hidden gem! What a wonderful place to stay! very clean rooms and amenities. Friendly staff. Great breakfast spread. Option to do laundry for free. We also utilized the bike rentals for 2 consecutive days - it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend this place and return again in the future."
