"The location was as good as it gets: you can see Main Street in Lake Placid. It’s a 2-5 minute walk. Also a 2-5 minute walk to the Mirror Lake trail (2.8 mile loop). The view from the room was gorgeous. The pool was 80 degrees and the hot tub 100. The pool had a 9.5ft depth on one end and was the biggest pool we’ve seen at a hotel. "When I booked it with Expedia, it said restaurant on site and pool with hot tub and pool. The restaurant was non existent. There were advertisements in the elevators for it. When my husband went to use the hot tub for his back, which is why I booked this hotel, it is all torn apart. The pool area is a MESS!!!!! If you are going to stay here this summer, I would NIOT!"
