"This was a difficult review and rating for me. Im not sure how this hotel got a 9.2. It was far from terrible but also far from great. Mediocre is probably the best word to use. So to be fair this review will be lengthy but complete and will highlight our good and bad opinions. We arrived into town several hours early, and were able to check in early without issue and no extra charge. This was awesome and very appreciated. During check in on Friday we were told that they only offered room service 3 times a week. So during our four night stay there would only be room service on Monday. Im old schooled and this disappointed me. If im spending good money on a hotel room i expect service at least every other day. I particularly feel that it should be offered at least one weekend day for those who only stay a weekend. But on Monday we took off our dnd sign by 9:30 am and went about our day - after putting all the dirty linens together on the floor for housekeeping. Imagine our surprise when we came back at midnight and the room was exactly as we left it. That was a big hit for us. Breakfast is terrible. Sausage was flavorless, bacon paper thin and overcooked - no real changes daily so it gets old quick. To top it off one the second morning I watched the attendant putting mIni muffins from a box with her ungloved hands into the display and then walk over to the garbage and open the lid to push the box in and go right back to handling more food items. Will continue this on goog"

"The staff at check in were very friendly. The room was a bit small for us but it ended up working out. Beautiful location on a hilltop with walking trail we used to stretch our legs. No breakfast, but we knew that in advance and took our own. It made the lobby a quiet place in the morning. The A/C was super cold which made for a good night’s sleep. We travel this way often. Would stay again."
